Hello audience friends, I'm Mo Yan. I am a high-density person from Weifang, so of course it is okay for me to say that I am from Weifang. Weifang is indeed a treasure land, whether in history or in modern times, first, we are rich in property, and second, we are talented.
In the first two years, I also used my vacation at home to run the entire Weifang county and city, and first of all, Weifang has a holistic and specific concept of geography, and also has an understanding of the historical properties of Weifang. I think there are thousands of people working in other places in our Weifang area, and everyone praises their hometown from different angles, so I will mainly talk about our high density.
Our Gaomi history is very long, since the Western Han Dynasty we talked about the Gaomi Kingdom, and now there are still the ruins of the old Gaomi City, and recently excavated in the southern area of Gaomi seems to be some of the remains of the inhabitants of the Zhou Dynasty, which are also archaeological finds.
We have a glue river in Gaomi, which is our mother river. The Jiao River was indeed short of water in the first two years, and these two years were indeed blue again. With water there is aura, with water there is life, with water there is green mountains and fields, and there are crops everywhere, so water is indeed closely related to people's lives. Therefore, when we say that the Jiao River is our mother river, it is indeed not a literary language, but a realistic description. Along the banks of the Jiao River, there is a high and flat fertile land, one village after another, each village is inhabited by our hardworking, brave and kind villagers, who have been producing and living on this land for thousands of years, extending life and creating achievements; In modern times, there are more outstanding high-density students, who have gone out from this land, gone to the world, and made brilliant achievements.
There are many figures in our history, our master of scripture during the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zheng Xuan, commented on the Six Classics; A TV series also made Liu Yong a household name. In terms of literature, like Su Dongpo and Zheng Banqiao, they have left a deep imprint in Weifang. Su Dongpo in Mizhou, now Zhucheng, built a transcendent platform, this transcendent platform still exists, I think the context they left behind is still circulating in the land of Weifang and in the land of Gaomi.
I want to emphasize in particular, that is, Gaomi has formed a very obvious literary phenomenon in recent decades, and some people have begun to summarize the phenomenon called red sorghum literature, which makes me a little happy, but I feel a little ashamed, because Gaomi now writes poetry and novels, in short, has formed a creative group, then this creative group must be related to the land of Gaomi, and also related to our spiritual symbol of red sorghum, which is a brilliant vision of our future literary development.
The red sorghum town we are building now, as well as the red sorghum film and television city that we are now vigorously operating, as well as the literature museum under construction, will become a distinctive literary symbol of Gaomi Northeast Township, and in time I think that the red sorghum town of Gaomi Northeast Township will become a bright spot on the Jiaodong Peninsula, and I also hope that one day our Gaomi can be named the World Capital of Literature by the United Nations, so that literature lovers from all over the world can come to us as guests, to create, to study and feel.
