"Indica japonica hybrid rice new varieties 'Zhejiang You 812' 'Zhejiang You 810' related cultivation technology transfer" project, the starting price of 1 million yuan, after 11 rounds of fierce bidding, and finally dropped the hammer at a price of 1.6 million yuan, obtained by Zhejiang Agricultural Science Seed Industry Co., Ltd., becoming the highest value-added scientific and technological achievement in the whole field.
"This new variety is a rare good variety in recent years, and we are very willing to pay a high price for this variety." Jiang Lin, general manager of Zhejiang Agricultural Science Seed Industry Co., Ltd., said that the variety has good color change, yield and tillering ability, high yield, easy to plant, easy to manage, and has the basis and market value of large-scale promotion in Zhejiang and other provinces.
The reporter learned that 'Zhejiang You 812' and 'Zhejiang You 810' are new varieties of indica japonica hybrid rice cultivated by the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the national variety approval in 2021 is reported. The new cultivar participated in the national rice complex regional test in 2019-2020, and the yield increased by 13.34% and 12.58% compared with the control, the whole growth period was 152.1 days and 153.2 days, the effective panicle per mu was 160,000, the plant height was 126.6cm and 125.5 cm, the total number of grains per panicle was 242.1 grains and 258.1 grains, the seed setting rate was 80.3% and 82.2%, and the 1,000 grain weight was 25.1 g and 24.7 g.
The 'Zhejiang You 812' rice quality is similar to the control, 3 of the 7 indicators are first-class, 1 is second-class, and 1 is third-class, and the 'Zhejiang You 810' rice quality reaches the third class of high quality, and the quality of 7 indicators is 3 first-class, 2 are second-class, and 2 are third-class. The two varieties show good quality, early maturity, better disease resistance, suitable for promotion and planting in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui, Hubei and other places, is currently able to reach the high yield level of 800 kg, but also meet the needs of high-quality grain production of good varieties, is expected to replace the super rice 'Zhejiang You 18' succession of the main variety, the annual promotion area of up to 200,000-500,000 mu.
