On September 25, Chen Gong, secretary of the district party committee, presided over the collective study seminar of the theoretical learning center group of the district party committee, focusing on "deeply grasping the world outlook and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era", and promoted the transformation of learning results into the ideological consciousness of firmly supporting the "two establishments" and resolutely achieving the "two safeguards", and into a powerful force for firm ideals, tempering party spirit, guiding practice, and promoting work. Jin Minghui, deputy secretary of the district party committee and acting mayor of the district, district leaders Zhou Jinyu, Guo Suxia, Feng Jingfu and other members of the theoretical study center group of the district party committee, and the main responsible comrades of the district departments and towns (streets) attended the meeting.
At the seminar, the leaders of the four major groups of the district took the lead in exchanging speeches around the theme of the seminar, reporting what to learn, how to learn, the main gains and other experiences, Chen Gong commented on the exchange speeches one by one, and commented on the theme education situation in the district, and put forward specific requirements for the key issues that need to be grasped.
The meeting emphasized that the focus at the current stage is to grasp theoretical study. It is necessary to select books for study, focus on the report of the 19th CPC National Congress, the resolution of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the report of the 20th CPC National Congress and other key contents, calm down, concentrate on reading the original works, study the original texts, and deeply understand the world outlook and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It is necessary to have a careful plan, scientifically arrange centralized study, individual self-study, discussion and exchange, arrange the schedule, set the content, grasp the supervision, and ensure practical results. To give play to the role of demonstration and leading action, the leaders of the four leading bodies of the district should calm down their minds and concentrate their energies, focus on the designated books, adhere to the original study, understand word by word, earnestly improve their theoretical literacy and political policy level, and set a good example for the party members and cadres in the whole region. It is necessary to make overall plans for the study and education of the whole district, grasp the theme education in the streets, communities and areas under the responsibility of the subcontracted towns at different levels, grasp the progress throughout the process, promptly discover and solve various emerging and tendentious problems, ensure that the direction is not biased, the focus is not scattered, and the intensity is not reduced, so as to promote the theme education of the whole region to achieve practical results.
The meeting also made arrangements for the current key work such as rushing to promote projects, strengthening economic scheduling, and doing a good job in safe production.
