Beckenbauer on Gad Müller: We are like brothers Without him there would be no Bayern today

Live Bar August 16 , Bayern Munich officials previously released an obituary, announcing the death of the club's legendary goalscorer Gad Müller at the age of 75.

In an interview with Bild yesterday, Beckenbauer said: "Even though people have had to feel sad about this news for a long time, it still has a shock to me. He was such a very nice guy, even better than one might think. Gad-Mueller and I are like brothers. ”

"Our home at the time was only a few kilometres away. He would come and pick me up before the game and sometimes he had to wait for me for a while. At one point he said impatiently: 'Franz, we're going to go downhill if we're late,' and then I laughed: 'Dick - that's what I call him, one thing you have to pay attention to, without us, no one would have left Bayern...', without his goal, Bayern would not have had the results they have now. ”
