Thailand's new Prime Minister Saita met with the Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Han Zhiqiang, and the delegation to discuss issues related to strengthening China-Thailand cooperation, including promoting tourism and future investment.
Prime Minister Saita also said that tourism is the best way to promote short-term economic growth, and he is studying and analyzing the number of tourists in the second half of this year, and has communicated with relevant departments, including the Thai National Police on security issues.
He hoped that the visa exemption for Chinese tourists would receive a positive response from all walks of life. Tourism has always been an important pillar industry in Thailand and one of the favorite tourist destinations for Chinese tourists.
With the increase in the number of Chinese tourists, the Thai government should also strengthen more investment and management of tourism to provide better tourism services and experiences. At the same time, the government should strengthen the safety protection of tourist destinations and ensure the personal and property safety of tourists.
Only in this way can we attract more tourists to Thailand and promote the development of the Thai economy.
