Hunan Daily, New Hunan Client, April 2 (Correspondent Huang Zhidong, Wang Xiaojuan, Huang Shengde) Fish ponds are arranged in an orderly manner, and groups of fish with their own characteristics swim in the water... On March 31st, I walked into the Hunan Manghaizhou Institute of Ecological Agricultural Technology located in Liuzishi Natural Village, Tuojiang Town, Jianghua Yao Autonomous County, and presented a gratifying scene in front of me.

Liu Weihua originally lived and worked in Jianghua for nearly thirty years, in 1989 because of the work transfer left Jianghua for another thirty years, but has always been in love with Jianghua, in May 2017, liu Weihua retired, gave up a comfortable life in Beijing, returned to Jianghua himself, to Tuojiang Town Manghaizhou Liuzishi Village invested more than 3.6 million yuan, transferred 12 acres of land, built Hunan Manghaizhou Ecological Agricultural Technology Research Institute, with characteristic breeding as the mainstay, to create a clean energy + greenhouse + internal circulating water multi-functional and efficient ecological agriculture system, to achieve the south fish north farming, The factory mode of light fish culture, aquaponics and vegetable symbiosis, and combination of breeding and breeding. Hunan Manghaizhou Institute of Ecological Agriculture Technology is a set of modern science and technology agricultural technology, equipment and equipment, integrated application research and development and promotion of scientific research and demonstration base, is a collection of breeding, planting, agricultural and light complementary, sightseeing tourism, scale industry as one of the integrated science and technology agriculture, with land saving, water saving, energy saving, environmental protection, high efficiency of the new ecological agriculture exhibition as the main body, change the backward situation of agricultural development due to land, climate and environmental factors, develop modern science and technology agriculture, and achieve the practical effect of industrial precision poverty alleviation. In December 2018, it was awarded the title of Yongzhou Science and Technology Popularization Base. At the same time, the base has driven 6 people to work.

Ouyang Jiluan, 60, an employee of the base, said happily, "I am here to help Professor Liu to do sanitation, have something to do at home, and have more than 12,000 yuan per year, I am very satisfied." Her family of 7 people, the family only has more than 2 acres of land, a few points of land, life is difficult, with the help of Professor Liu, took off the poverty hat.

"The living environment of baby fish is very demanding, the water quality should be clean, and the temperature should be low." In the doll fish breeding pond of the research institute, Liu Weihua held the baby fish in both hands and said excitedly, "This baby fish has been raised for 3 years, and it weighs 8 pounds." He believes that the success of special breeding and the creation of a living environment for species are the key.

"This is the Australian lobster, the scientific name is the four-ridged light shell south shrimp, native to Australia, the shape resembles the lobster in the sea, is one of the most valuable freshwater economic shrimp species in the world." Liu Weihua took out a few live and jumping specialty shrimp from the bamboo tube in the breeding pond and introduced it.

"In the next step, I am ready to adopt the model of company + base + farmer, first do demonstration, then build a model, and then develop the industry, provide villagers with fish fry, technology, help sales, drive villagers to develop large-scale aquaculture, let villagers increase income and become rich, and promote rural tourism and rural revitalization." Liu Weihua is full of confidence in the future.
