Wu Ke, former secretary of the Huangping County PARTY Committee of Guizhou And former deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau, took advantage of his position to accept bribes of more than 4.3 million yuan. Yesterday, the Liupanshui City Intermediate People's Court sentenced Wu Ke to 13 years in prison and confiscated 200,000 yuan of personal property, and the trial was broadcast live on Sina's official Weibo.

At 9:30 a.m. on April 9, the Liupanshui Intermediate People's Court publicly pronounced a verdict on the bribery case of Wu Ke, former deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau. On the same day, Wu Ke wore a dark coat to accept the verdict of the court.

After trial, it was ascertained that defendant Wu Ke was the secretary of the Huangping County Cpc Committee in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, from November 2006 to January 2014, presiding over the overall work of the county party committee, during which time he was also a member and secretary of the Working Committee of The Huangping Industrial Park in November 2011, a member of the Party Group of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau on January 10, 2014, and a deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau on January 28 of the same year.

From 2009 to January 2014, Wu Ke took advantage of his position as secretary of the Huangping County Party Committee and deputy director of the Provincial Grain Bureau in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, to illegally accept a total of 4,306,768,500 yuan from others, involving a total of 11 cases.

In the first case, Wu Ke accepted 1 million yuan, and in 2008, Liao Mou and Wang Mou, businessmen from Linshui County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, were ready to jointly fund the establishment of a company in Huangping County to cooperate in the development of Majiayan and the former government area in Huangping County, and signed a construction intention agreement with the Huangping County Government.

In 2009, the Huangping County Land Bureau will be the original government area of about 43 acres of land, land assessment of 535 yuan per square meter, Liao asked Wu Ke to help coordinate the relevant departments to reduce prices, with the help of Wu Ke, the final land was 395 yuan per square meter transaction.

In 2010, Wang and Liao and others jointly funded the establishment of Ruiding Company to develop the "Longyu Dingcheng" project in the former county government area, and in order to thank Wu Ke for helping them obtain the right to develop the project, Wu Ke gave Wu Ke 1 million yuan. After this, Wu Ke tasted the sweetness and began to frantically collect money.

The return of 4.2568 million yuan was sentenced to 13 years in the first instance

It was also ascertained that after the defendant Wu Ke passively returned to the case, he voluntarily confessed the facts of 10 bribery cases other than the first case that the case-handling organs had not yet grasped. After the incident, the 200,000 yuan of stolen money distributed by defendant Wu Ke to his nephew Ao Ketong was recovered, and Wu Ke's relatives returned 4.2568 million yuan on his behalf.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the presiding judge sentenced Wu Ke to 13 years' imprisonment and confiscated his personal property of 200,000 yuan.
