On the 9th, the Liupanshui City Intermediate People's Court publicly pronounced a verdict on the bribery case of Wu Ke, former deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau, convicted Wu Ke of accepting bribes in accordance with the law, sentenced him to 13 years' imprisonment, and confiscated personal property of 200,000 yuan; Defendant Wu Ke's criminal proceeds of 4,306,768,000 yuan were confiscated and handed over to the state treasury by the seizing organ.

After trial, the court found that from 2009 to January 2014, Wu Ke took advantage of his position as secretary of the Huangping County Cpc Committee and deputy director of the Provincial Grain Bureau in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, to illegally accept a total of 4,306,768,500 yuan of other people's property, and in the work of project development, project contracting, river management, land circulation, project fund allocation, investment promotion, etc., the act of seeking benefits for others constituted the crime of accepting bribes and should be punished according to law. In view of the fact that after Wu Ke arrived at the case, in addition to taking the initiative to confess the facts of bribery already in the hands of the case-handling organs, he also took the initiative to confess the facts of the same kind of heavier bribery that the case-handling organs had not yet grasped, had frank circumstances, and actively returned all the stolen funds, confessed guilt and repented, and could be given a lenient punishment according to law.

From November 2006 to January 2014, Wu Ke served as the secretary of the Huangping County Party Committee of Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, presiding over the overall work of the county party committee, during which time he also served as a member and secretary of the Working Committee of Huangping Industrial Park in November 2011; On January 10, 2014, he was appointed as a member of the Party Group of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau, and on January 28, 2014, he was appointed deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Grain Bureau.
