Hosted by the Chinese Society of Automation and RoboCup China Committee, and co-organized by Shanghai Zhangjiang (Group) Co., Ltd. and Zhangjiang Robot Valley, the "2023 RoboCup Robot World Cup China Competition (Shanghai Division) and Zhangjiang Intelligent Robot Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition" was officially held at the Zhangjiang Branch of the 6th World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2023) from July 6 to 8.
RoboCup China is the official regional event of the RoboCup Robot World Cup. The competition includes three intelligent robot competition projects, @home (family group), robot football small group and robot football standard platform group, and 25 outstanding teams and nearly 500 scientific and technological elite students from 18 well-known universities such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Jiaotong University, Tongji University and Shanghai University participated in the competition. The competition was broadcast live by CBN and broadcast on its TV channel.
As one of the robotics discipline competitions with the greatest influence and the highest comprehensive technical level for college students and graduate students in mainland China, the competition is committed to promoting the development of robotics-related disciplines, especially automation, robotics, artificial intelligence and other disciplines.
After three days of fierce competition, the competition finally produced 4 champion teams, 3 runner-up teams and 3 third-place teams.

As the first science and technology innovation competition, the track design of Zhangjiang Intelligent Robot Science and Technology Innovation Competition was jointly completed by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology and six intelligent robot enterprises in Zhangjiang Robot Valley Park. Enterprises are based on their own needs, and school-enterprise tutors form scientific research topics from key technical points; The students of Harbin Institute of Technology's "Intelligent Robot Class" took this as the theme of competition and competed fiercely.
After the enthusiastic presentation of 8 contestants, the professional jury composed of experts and professors and the top technology enterprises of Robot Valley strictly judged, and the top three in the vertical track of this year's Science and Technology Innovation Competition were produced.
