Why did Real Madrid sign 18-year-old Turkish star Alda?

Real Madrid signed Alda from Fenerbahce this summer, and the 18-year-old is on track to become the first Turkish player to play for a Spanish club since 2012.
So, what's so special about the club? Why are La Liga giants so desperate to sign him? Alda is 1.76 meters tall and plays as a midfielder. In the 21-23 season, he made 32 appearances for Fenerbahce, scoring 7 goals. Jule is often placed in the 4132 formation. Although he is more of an attacking midfielder, he spends only 71% of his time in the attacking midfield position, and his time in the right wing position far exceeds that number. As a left-footed player, Alda often swims inside and threatens opponents from the middle.
Last season, Alda created 40 scoring chances, averaging one every 23 minutes. It was the best performance of a La Liga player in nearly 10 years, surpassing Mathieu Valbuena's record of 24 minutes in 2017-18. Jule also excelled in expected assists per 90 minutes, averaging an overall score of 0.42.
Of the players who played in Europe's top five leagues in the 2022 season, only one group of players averaged more than Jule every 90 minutes: De Bruyne, Messi, Neymar and Alba with 0.52, 0.51, 0.43 and 0.43 respectively. While it may be difficult for Jule to become a regular at Real Madrid in the new season, he may be loaned out to develop better. Last season, only two players under the age of 21 from Real Madrid played in La Liga: Rodriguez and Camavinga.
