In order to consolidate the successful experience, she once again set her sights on "research on the cathodic application of LDH nanocomposites in microbial fuel cells". This time the experimental scheme was successfully approved by the tutor, through the previous experiments, she realized that LDH nanocomposites have excellent power generation effect and redox potential, and the electrode prepared with its modified air cathode is a promising fuel cell material. This made the subsequent research progress more effective with half the effort, and successfully completed the experimental study of "electrochemical performance enhancement of nickel iron hydrotalite coated with iron tetroxide as a cathode catalyst for single-chamber microbial fuel cells", and the paper written has been accepted by sci-1 top journal "Scienceof the Total Environment". With the help of classmates and teachers, they also co-published a paper in bioresource Technology, a TOP journal of SCI District 1, and completed two utility model patents, harvesting rich scientific research results. In addition, "The application of metal-organic skeleton materials (MOFs) in microbial fuel cells" also attracted her attention, and she conducted a large number of studies on this, writing an SCI paper with a co-author, which was published in the SCI journal ProcessBiochemistry.
