On June 27th, Luxi County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, held the 2nd Tourism Development Conference and the Cultural Tourism Resources Collection Activity of the Riverside Prairie Opening Festival, where guests from all over the country gathered together to deeply explore the magnificent tourism resources of Luxi, experience the local customs and cultural heritage, and feel the beautiful time.
During the activity, the guests visited the Li Family Ancestral Hall, Wanshou Palace, Li Family Academy, Taiping Street, Wanhe Garden and Yuanjiang Painting Wall in the ancient town of Pushi, through understanding the inheritance of Zhongxiao culture, watching intangible cultural heritage works such as Miao counting yarns, stepping tiger chiseled flowers, and masks, enjoying the high-pitched tone of the Chenhe River, tea art performances, large-scale incense dancing performances and other programs, swimming the Yuanjiang Ten Miles Painting Wall, and gaining an in-depth understanding of the tourism development, intangible cultural inheritance, protection and utilization of historical and cultural resources in the ancient town of Luxipu City and the Yuanjiang area. Everywhere they went, the guests were attracted by the local beauty, food, culture, history and enthusiasm, and they said that they would do their best to publicize the magnificent Luxi so that more people could understand Luxi, come to Luxi and fall in love with Luxi.
Pushi Ancient Town is located in the Yuanshui River, known as "the first famous town in Xiangxi" and "Little Nanjing" and other reputations, so far in the 13.3-hectare core protection circle of the ancient town, there are still 3 ancient commercial streets, more than 20 ancient alleys, more than 170 ancient houses and ancient courtyards, known as "Chinese ancient architecture Grand View Garden". Luxi County adheres to the principle of overall planning, adaptation to local conditions, first implementation and first trial, and gradual progress, and vigorously promotes the protection and utilization of the history and culture of Pushi Town, and was successfully created as a national 3A tourist scenic spot in 2015 and a national 4A tourist scenic spot in 2016. In 2019, the Pushi Ancient Town Building Complex was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
In recent years, Luxi has given full play to the brand effects of "China's Natural Oxygen Bar" and "Beautiful China, Deep Breath Small City", actively developed products such as "Oxygen Bar Homestay", "Oxygen Bar Competition" and "Fast Travel Slow Travel Oxygen Bar Special Train", implemented water projects such as Luxi Luxi at night, 5D light and shadow show, natural baths, and water entertainment world, created a riverside leisure and health tourism destination in Wuling Mountain, made every effort to promote high-quality economic and social development, and comprehensively built a socialist modern new Luxi.
