In terms of polysilicon, many institutions suspended quotations this week due to the holiday. According to the research of a few institutions, the dense material in the first week of May was about 45,000 yuan/ton, which was lower than the cost line of most enterprises. According to SMM's survey data, polysilicon inventories have reached about 250,000 tons, and the inventories of individual polysilicon factories have exceeded 50,000 tons. Some polysilicon mills will have maintenance plans in the next few months under the dual pressure of cost and inventory, and in May, polysilicon factories also stopped the continuous increase since 2022, and the production schedule was around 182,000 tons, even a slight decrease from the previous month.
