On the afternoon of June 25, the 2023 Peking University Young Financiers Forum hosted by Peking University Shanghai Financiers Club was held in the North Bund.
According to reports, the theme of this forum is "thinking and practice of investment in scientific and technological innovation". At present, scientific and technological innovation is profoundly changing the pattern and mode of the financial industry. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain continue to emerge, bringing great opportunities and challenges to the financial industry.
In the keynote speech session, the forum invited Shen Jiong, alumnus of Peking University and managing partner of Fengrui Capital, to share his investment in scientific and technological innovation, and Shao Dian, an alumnus of Peking University and associate professor of Northwestern Polytechnical University, to analyze the future trend of artificial intelligence.
At the Young Financiers Roundtable, young financiers from the investment community had a lively discussion on fund investment. Yan Yan, Vice President of Asset Management Association of China, and Pan Muping, Chairman of Peking University Shanghai Financiers Club, participated in the interaction as guests, and the exchange atmosphere was warm.
According to the District Financial Bureau, in recent years, Hongkou District has actively integrated into the construction of Shanghai's international financial center, vigorously supported the cultivation of financial industries featuring wealth management and asset management, and accelerated the promotion of the North Bund area to become a dual core bearing area of Shanghai's global asset management and financial technology. The financial industry has become the core pillar industry of Hongkou. At present, it is urgent to conduct in-depth research on the integration of scientific and technological innovation and financial investment from the perspective of thinking and practice, so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of the financial industry in Hongkou District and continuously improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the regional financial industry. It is hoped that with the help of this forum platform, exchanges and interactions can be fully realized, and useful ideas and suggestions can be provided for the high-quality development of the industry and Hongkou Finance. On the same day, the participants also witnessed the donation ceremony of Peking University Shanghai Financiers Club to set up the "Peking University Shanghai Financiers Club Book Counter" at the China Securities Museum.
