At the Battle of Sekigahara, the commanders of the two sides were Tokugawa Ieyasu and Toyotomi's vassal Ishida Sansei, and from the perspective of strength, the strength of the two sides seemed to be similar, all below 80,000 or less; and the place where the great war broke out did not seem to be very conducive to defense or offense; and there were also excellent generals on both sides, although tokugawa Ieyasu had Fukushima Masanori, Kuroda Nagamasa, Honda Tadatsu and others, but ishida 30% on the ishida side also had Governor Konishi, Yoshihiro Shimazu, Hideya Ukita and others.
So in any way, this seems to be a protracted battle to test logistics and supplies; but what surprises people is that this extremely large-scale conference battle ended in only one day. In fact, it was mainly Tokugawa Ieyasu's good luck that he was unexpectedly helped by three "pit daddy goods", which were Kuroda Nagamasa, Kohayakawa Hideaki, and Hiroya Yoshikawa.
First of all, let's talk about Kuroda Nagamasa, Kuroda Nagamasa's father was Kuroda Rumizu (Kuroda Takashi), who was the greatest hero who assisted Toyotomi Hideyoshi in unifying Japan, and had extremely high military ability and diplomatic skills, especially long at strategy, the Battle of Eigaura, the flooded Naka takamatsu Castle, the Great Turnaround of China, the Four Kingdoms Expedition, the Kyushu Expedition, the Battle of Odawara Cage Castle, and the Northern Kyushu Hegemony, all of which were Kuroda Rushui's masterpieces, so it was called "the first army division under heaven".
However, Kuroda Rumizu has always had the intention of dominating Japan, especially after the death of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, that is, he has already planned a blueprint for the three points of the world, that is, to first determine Kyushu, then attack China (The name of the Japanese place), and then compete with the winner of the Battle of Sekigahara for the world. But his son Kuroda Nagamasa not only did not help him, but helped Tokugawa Ieyasu unify the world as soon as possible.
Kuroda Nagamasa not only immediately defected to Tokugawa Ieyasu after toyotomi Hideyoshi's death, but also was the most active general on Tokugawa Ieyasu's side at the Battle of Sekigahara, and even Tokugawa Ieyasu affirmed his first merit; Kuroda Nagamasa was credited with thirty percent of the reason why he was able to solve the battle in one day; because the Sekigahara War ended too early, Kuroda's plan to be like water fell through, and he had to submit to Tokugawa Ieyasu.
The second thing to say is the "Sekigahara God of War" Kohayakawa Hideaki, in fact, it is not to say how strong this Kohayakawa Hideaki is, but he is the core figure who influenced the Sekigahara War. Originally the fifth son of Kinoshita Ieyasu, he later became the adopted son of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Kohayakawa Takaaki, and after the death of Kohayakawa Takakei, he inherited the Hayakawa family, not only with a fief of more than 300,000 stones, but also with many generals under his command.
According to the trajectory of Hideaki Kohayakawa's life, he should have firmly supported the Toyotomi clan, but because of his identity, he was forced to join ishida's 30% side with 15,000 people; why is it forced? Because he and Tokugawa Ieyasu had a very good personal relationship, and even Tokugawa Ieyasu was kind to him, many people speculated that Hideaki Hayakawa was Tokugawa Ieyasu's ambush on Ishida's 30% side.
But in fact, this is not the case, in fact, during the War, Kohayakawa Hideaki has been swinging left and right, after all, Ishida Sansei's promise to him is too tempting, not only can serve as Guan Bai, but also can get a fief of million stones, so before the war, Kohayakawa Hideaki was very positive. However, a conflict with Ishida Mitsunari later led to his passive response to the Sekigahara War.
At that time, Tokugawa Ieyasu sent emissaries to him several times to transfer to his side, but Hayakawa Hideaki did not agree; it was not until Kuroda Nagamasa came to his position that he decided to defect to Tokugawa Ieyasu. At that time, ishida's 30% side had a total of more than 80,000 soldiers and horses, and after Kohayakawa Hideaki defected, it immediately lost 15,000 troops, and Tokugawa Ieyasu's side immediately increased its strength by 15,000 troops.
Moreover, the defection of Hideaki Hayakawa gave is a lot of pressure on ishida's Sansei side, followed by Yasuharu Wakasa, Yutada Ogawa, and others who also defected, which directly led to the rout of Ishida's 30% side; according to merit, Kohayakawa Hideaki accounted for at least fifty percent, if it were not for his defection, the two sides would at least be in a long-term stalemate, which is also the origin of his reputation as "Sekigahara God of War".
The third thing to say is the Yoshikawa Hiroya family, many people are not very familiar with him, but when it comes to his grandfather, few people should not know that his grandfather is the "first wise general of the Warring States" Maori Motono. The genes of this Maori family are also excellent, and this Yoshikawa Hiroshi family is a fierce general with both wisdom and courage, although Yoshikawa Hiroshi's father, Yoshikawa Motoharu, does not like Toyotomi Hideyoshi, but he is ultimately a fierce general under Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
Compared with Yoshikawa Motoharu, Toyotomi Hideyoshi valued the Yoshikawa Hiroshi family more, not only giving high praise, but also constantly wooing the Yoshikawa Hiroshi family, and once gave him a separate 120,000-stone domain. The Hiroya Yoshikawa family did not disappoint Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and made many great achievements, and under the auspices of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the Yoshikawa Hiroya family also became the adopted son of Maori Keimoto.

Later, during the Battle of Sekigahara, the Yoshikawa Hiroshi clan bound the military power of the Maori and Nagasaki clans. In fact, Maori Huiyuan did not want to fight very much, has been passive and sluggish, and the only real fight with the Yoshikawa Hiroyasu family is the Nagamasa Ibu family, so after the war, Tokugawa Ieyasu did not embarrass the Maori family too much, and finally retained the territory of Zhoufang and Nagato.
