On the first day of work after the National Day holiday, the construction of key municipal infrastructure projects such as Chenjiaji Avenue and New District Avenue projects in the Yangtze River New Area accelerated construction, pressed forward, and sprinted forward for the "wonderful year-round". On October 8, a reporter from Yangtze River Daily came to the construction site of various projects to visit the construction and progress of the project.

On the afternoon of the 8th, the construction site of chenjiaji avenue project was busy, excavators were excavating earth, and more than 80 workers were carrying out tunnel support project construction. "The Construction Site did not stop work for a moment during the National Day holiday, and after the holiday, it seized the opportunity to reverse the construction period and accelerate the construction of the project." Zhai Jianhao, a staff member of the Engineering Management Department of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., who is dispatching on the spot, introduced that the total length of the tunnel is 2.2 kilometers, and the maximum burial depth is 22.9 meters. At present, the project is carrying out tunnel support construction, and the next step will be to excavate the tunnel section with mature conditions, fully promote the construction of the underground main structure, and strive to start the bottom plate pouring of the tunnel project at the end of this year.

Chenjiaji Avenue is a fast track connecting the Yangtze River New Area and the main urban area of Hankou, with a total length of 4.7 kilometers, starting from Jiefang Avenue in the west, to the Third Ring Road in the east, passing through the Shanghai-Hanrong High-speed Railway and the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway along the line, crossing the ZhujiaHe River, and the project mainly builds surface roads, underground double-decker tunnels, comprehensive pipe corridors, cross-river bridges, monitoring and management centers and auxiliary facilities. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2023, when it will take about 5 minutes by car for citizens to cross the Yangtze River New Area from Jiefang Avenue to the Third Ring Road.

On the north side of Chenjiaji Avenue, the construction of the parallel New District Avenue is in full swing, and the underground comprehensive pipe corridor and foundation reinforcement are advancing simultaneously. At the scene, workers are busy tying steel bars, setting up an underground operating platform, and the earth pump on the ground extends the mechanical arm, injects concrete into the underground wall formwork, and simultaneously pours concrete for a 35-meter-long section of the comprehensive pipe gallery. "We are working overtime to promote the construction of the project and create the conditions for the project to be delivered on time." Xiang Lang, head of the engineering and technical department of the new district avenue of the CCCC Second Aviation Bureau, said. The construction of the 595-meter-long underground comprehensive pipe corridor of the second bidding section (new section) is progressing smoothly, and the excavation of the 400-meter comprehensive pipe corridor has been completed, the comprehensive pipe corridor of the section is divided into 20 sections, 5 sections have completed the pouring of the bottom plate, side wall and roof plate, and 12 sections have completed excavation, and the comprehensive pipe corridor of this section is planned to be completed by the end of this year.

The 3.97-kilometer-long New District Avenue Project starts from the intersection of Jiefang Avenue and Zhujiahe River in the west to Chenjiaji Ping'anpu East Road in the east, which is an urban trunk road connecting the Yangtze River New Area, the main city of Hankou and the Panlongcheng area. The project will build supporting infrastructure such as surface roads, interchange ramps, cross-river bridges, and comprehensive pipe corridors, and the project is scheduled to be completed in 2022. It is understood that the comprehensive pipe corridor supporting the construction of the new district avenue project will accommodate four types of pipelines such as water supply, energy supply, electricity, and communications, using a double-cabin design, placed under the sunken green belt and sidewalk on the south side of the road, realizing the intensive and economical utilization of urban land resources and the three-dimensional composite development of aboveground and underground space.
