Zhang Bi (1425-1487), also known as Ru Bi (汝弼), was a Chinese poet who was known as Donghai (东海翁). A native of Huating (present-day Songjiang, Shanghai). In the second year of Chenghua (1466), he was the head of the military department and the governor of Nan'an. Cursive calligraphers Zhang Xu and Huai Su have a smooth pen, a rapid pen gesture, and a strong writing style. As the most popular wild grass school at that time, it affected the style of writing in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, and later generations collected its cursive writing and carved it into "Tiehan Lou Ti". He is the author of the "East China Sea Anthology".

Zhang Bi has not written much, and this volume is a rare masterpiece in his surviving works. The full volume of pen and ink is full, the momentum is flying and smooth, the lifting and closing are full of changes, and the dry and delicate are resigned to nature. Each multi-thread connection between the words, the strokes are thick or thin, the glyphs are large or small, they are natural, and the line is penetrating and moving, forming a unique style of writing with ups and downs.

This volume of Zhang Bishu originated in the nineteenth year of Ming Chenghua (1483), and after Liang Kezai of Nanhai obtained su Shi's "Taibai Immortal Poems" volume (this volume is now in the Osaka Museum of Art, Japan), he and Zhang Hong' third son Zhang Hong went to Nan'an and asked Zhang Bi to do it. His son Hongzhi wanted to record it, so Zhang Bi bingzhan helped to record two poems of Su Shishu Taibai Xian, the original volume after the tail of the Jin Dynasty Cai Songnian inscription, and Zhang Bi's own inscription.
