Meanwhile, Anthropic announced on May 23 that it had raised $450 million in a funding round led by Spark Capital.

Andreessen Horowitz led Character.AI's $150 million financing, which is currently valued at more than $1 billion.
Meanwhile, AI startup Adept recently raised $350 million, which is also valued at more than $1 billion.
Adept studies how humans use computers—from browsing the internet to using sophisticated enterprise software tools—to build an AI model that can translate text commands into a series of actions.
Venture capital money has also gone to many AI chip startups.
In addition, Nvidia faces more competition from AI chip startups Cerebras, Sambanova, and Graphcore.
