The exhibition is one of the first cultural and artistic exchange activities under the framework of the 2017 ministerial-provincial cooperation between the Moscow Chinese Cultural Center and Gansu Province, and the exhibition will last for one week.

Mao Zhicheng is the vice president of the Gansu Academy of Painting, a national first-class artist, and a member of the China Artists Association, whose style of works is based on realism and western folk life, and has his own unique creative style. The "Pilgrimage to Dunhuang" exhibition is Mao Zhicheng's first exhibition of Chinese paintings held in Moscow, and nearly 50 Chinese paintings are on display this time.
