Qin Huai Bayan refers to the eight talented artists on the banks of the Qinhuai River in Nanjing in the Jiangnan region of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and was first seen in Yu Huai's Banqiao Miscellaneous Records, which wrote about Gu Hengbo, Dong Xiaowan, Bian Yujing, Li Xiangjun, Kou Baimen, and Ma Xianglan. Later generations added Liu Ruyi and Chen Yuanyuan and called Qin Huai Bayan.

Qin Huai Bayan's experience and story are enough to write a thick book, in the era of dynastic change, they are more fate and the times are linked, in that era of sword and light sword shadow struggle for power and profit, no one notices what kind of ending they have.

Wu Weiye and Bian Yujing: Bo Xing Xiaolang, who will eventually bear Qingqing in this life

Accompanied by green lanterns, suicide, illness and death, and being sealed with a pint of commandments. And the final death, also mostly in the disease and suicide, except for Chen Yuanyuan, everyone was still very young when he died.

In addition to crying and dying of grief and anger, there are also trapped by love, such as Bian Yujing, who pursues love and cannot, and cannot bear to die of illness at the age of 42.

Speaking of Bian Yujing, in Qin Huai Bayan, her name is associated with Wu Meicun, a great talent in Jiangnan.

Wu Weiye (21 June 1609 – 23 January 1672) was a Chinese poet from Taicang, Jiangsu.

Wu Meicun was a famous poet in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, who was called "Jiang Zuo San da" together with Qian Qianyi and Gong Dingzi, and was also the founder of the Loudong poetry school. Long in seven words and songs, he first learned the "Changqing body", and later became a new yin, which was called "plum village body" by posterity.

Wu Meicun's "Round Song" marks that ancient Chinese narrative poetry has reached a new height. This is a seven-word song, through the gathering and dispersion of Chen Yuanyuan and Wu Sangui, a famous prostitute in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, reflecting a series of major historical events in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, euphemistically condemning Wu Sangui's rebellious behavior. The whole poem cleverly links Wu Sangui and Chen Yuanyuan with Wu Wangfucha and Xi Shi, and at the same time uses many historical allusions into the poem, so that the poem is shrouded in a deep sense of history:

Dinghu abandoned the world on the same day, and broke the enemy to take the Capital under the Jade Pass.

Weeping for the Six Armies, Chong Guan was angry and blushed.

……

Taste the fall of the country and the fall of the city, and turn zhou lang to receive a heavy name.

The wife should not be concerned about the big plan, and the hero is helpless to be sentimental.

The whole family's white bones turned into ashes, and a generation of red makeup shone on sweat and green.

In addition to the "Yuanyuan Qu", Wu Meicun has another representative poem of "Meicun Body", called "Listening to the Female Taoist Bian Yujing Playing the Piano Song":

Yujing and I met in the south, and the home is close to the bottom road of Dagongfang.

On the side of the small courtyard Qinglou Avenue, the opposite door is Zhongshan Residence.

Zhongshan has a female delicacy, clear eyes and bright teeth hanging bright.

He once sang and danced because of the internal feast, and glimpsed the graffiti yellow in the middle of the sitting.

Zhongshan's good female light wandered, and for a while the powder was ignored.

Yan Xie is known to be the legend of the world, and Gao Men is jealous of others.

Last night, the city was blowing the whistle, and the church was also called for urgent.

Jasper class is afraid to stay, and The Lu family outside the camp door cries.

Privately dressed out of the river, just in time to meet Danyang Xiazhu boat.

Zhai entered the Tao on Huang Qi and brought Lu Qi to Chan Juan.

Ten years of companions of two or three, Sha Dong Zhu Yan exhausted the loess.

Your relatives are deeply unfamiliar with dust, and my generation is drifting zero and counting.

Wu Weiye and Bian Yujing: Bo Xing Xiaolang, who will eventually bear Qingqing in this life

Bian Yujing (c. 1623 - 1665), mingsai, also known as saisai, because he later came from the number "Yujing Daoren", called Yujing. She was born in the family of QinHuai officials and eunuchs, and the two sisters, due to the early death of their father, the two became prostitutes.

In addition to painting, Bian Yujing also writes well, and he has a small Kai Qingxiu like a person, who has studied music and can play the piano. Bian Yujing's temperament, when he is slightly drunk, can play to the extreme, on the banquet, between confidants, ethereal and charming, there is a saying that "the wine is looking for Bian Yujing, and the bottom of the flower is Chen Yuanyuan".

When Bian Yujing was 18 years old, she traveled between Wumen and Juhuqiu between Qinhuai and Suzhou, and it was at this time that she met Wumei Village.

In the spring of the fourteenth year of Chongzhen, in Suzhou Tiger Hill, a man named Wu Jishan was going to leave this place and go to Chengdu Dangzhi County, where relatives and friends arranged a banquet for him, and invited several singers and prostitutes to add to the atmosphere, including the Bian Yujing sisters.

After eating and drinking enough, it is necessary to write two poems of regret, Bian Yujing wrote:

Cut the candles on the bashan and send Junlan to cross the Jianggao.

I would like to send a picture of Xiao Xiang seeds to Xue Tao with the spring breeze.

The works that should be written about the scene can be written on this part, worthy of the name of a talented woman.

Wu Meicun, a cousin of Wu Jishan, also came to the banquet, and stood next to Bian Yujing, who blurted out "good poems" as soon as Bian Yujing finished writing. Hearing Wu Meicun's praise, Bian Yujing couldn't contain his inner excitement, and he couldn't help but look at everyone, and threw a sentence of "also intentional" to Wu Meicun, which was almost like saying: "I want to marry you!"

But Wu Meicun only said one sentence, "Solid as a Ruofu solver", and there is no following.

The clever Bian Yujing heard the sound of the strings, and couldn't help but be sad, "long sigh and gaze."

Wu Caizi refused Bian Yujing's bold show of love, in fact, there was another hidden feeling.

Wu Meicun already had a wife and concubine in his family, which was of course one of the reasons. However, there is a more important reason, Wu Meicun can not say, it is said that the Chongzhen Emperor's favorite concubine Tian Shi's brother Tian Qi wanted to come to Jinling to choose a concubine for the emperor, and had already taken a fancy to Chen Yuanyuan and Bian Yujing. Wu Meicun was timid before he was powerful, and even if he liked it in his heart, how dare he touch it, he couldn't say these words, only in his heart.

Two years later, Bian Yujing married a descendant of the family named Zheng Jiande. Because of her disappointment, she gently served the maid, and she chose to leave herself.

The wordless ending of Wu Meicun and Bian Yujing was actually determined by Wu Meicun's disposition of "life rules and deeds, and the size is beyond the limit". He has always been cold and cautious, lacking in atmosphere, which is also manifested in the Jiashen State Change: when the news of Chongzhen's self-hanging from the coal mountain came, The Meicun wanted to hang himself, but eventually gave up because of the concern for his family; when his friend Wang Han became angry and went to the mountain with The Plum Village, the Plum Village also failed to implicate the flesh and bones.

At the turn of the spring and summer of the second year of Qing Shunzhi (1645), Nanjing fell and the small court of Hongguang collapsed. The Qing court immediately recruited singers in Nanjing, and all the women who were in the music book were among the hou zhao, and Bian Yujing, who was famous and famous, was even more likely to be recruited at any time.

"Last night the city was blowing the stalks, and the church was also called for emergency. Jasper class is afraid to stay, and The Lu family outside the camp door cries. Later, Wu Meicun wrote a poem reminiscing in this way.

If Bian Yujing, like ordinary women, had only known self-hatred and resignation to fate, there might have been no such figure as "Bian Yujing" in history. However, it was precisely at this critical moment of collapse that Bian Yujing showed extraordinary courage and composure. Although she was in the Qinglou, she was not willing to become a tool for the amusement of foreign races who bullied and killed her compatriots, so she quietly changed into a Taoist costume, brought only a small amount of money and a favorite guqin, avoided the attention of the Qing army, and came to the river.

Wu Weiye and Bian Yujing: Bo Xing Xiaolang, who will eventually bear Qingqing in this life

There, Bian Yujing encountered a civilian ship from Danyang, so she boarded the boat and went down the river. precisely:

"Private more makeup out of the river, just in time to meet Danyang under the boats." Cut huang qi greedy into the dao, bringing with it Lu Qi v. Chan Juan."

"Huang Qi" is the Taoist costume, "Lu Qi" is the name of the piano, since then, Bian Yujing used to wear Taoist clothes, calling himself "Yujing Daoist", which is the origin of "Bian Yujing".

In the autumn of the seventh year of Shunzhi (1650), Wu Meicun learned at Qian Qianyi's house in Changshu that Bian Yujing was also living in Shanghu and wanted to see her. Under the mediation of Qian, Bian Yujing came, but then went upstairs to excuse the need to see the rear of the dressing, and then said that the old disease suddenly broke out, please visit on another day, facing Bian Yujing, who is close to the end of the world and also has unspeakable pain, Wu Meicun was sad and wrote four famous "Qinhe Feeling Old":

One

White door willow good hiding crow, who said flat boat swing oar obliquely.

Golden house cloud deep Wugu tree, jade cup spring warm still lake flower.

See come to learn to avoid low tuan fan, near the suspicious sound of the tungsten car.

If you want to regret the night of the flute in Shicheng, Qingxiao is easy to bid farewell to the Lu family.

Second

The oil wall ushered in the old tour, and the front of the honor did not have to worry about the flowers.

Knowing that Bo was fortunate to be hated, he was just affectionate but ashamed.

Therefore, he stole jade tendons from idle people, and spread good words to silver hooks.

The five tombs were urged to return home, cutting off the twelfth floor of the red wall.

Third

Hugh hates the news, as if Luo Shi was not married.

The car rolled over the roller blinds and dreamed of carrying the sleeve to meet the greeting.

The green shirt is gaunt and pitiful, and the red pink is drifting to my memory.

Remember that Hengtang autumn night is good, Yu Chao Enzhong is a former life.

Fourth

Chang xiang Dongfeng asked to paint Lan, and the jade man sighed slightly.

At first glance, it was difficult to draw the jinser, and the small stack of Qiongmu ink was not dry.

Weak leaves are lazy and tired, and young shoots are delicate and cold in spring.

The book became a fan basket based on who sent it, and I was afraid that Xiao Lang could not bear to read it.

Wu Weiye and Bian Yujing: Bo Xing Xiaolang, who will eventually bear Qingqing in this life

In addition to these four poems, Wu Meicun also wrote the brilliant, affectionate but sad and desolate "Linjiang Xian Feng Old":

Luotuo Jianghu often carries wine, and sees Yunying again in ten years. Still light in the palm of your hand. Only then did he smile in front of the lamp and steal the arboreal skirt. Bo Xing Xiao Lang was very emaciated, and he was responsible for Qingqing in this life. Dusk outside Gusu City. The green window people went to live, and red and pink tears flowed.

Their next meeting was in the early spring of 1651, probably because Bian Yujing could not forget Wu Meicun and read his poems.

Dressed in a Taoist costume, Bian Yujing told Wu Meicun about the tragic experiences of the noble maidens of the Ming Dynasty and the beautiful ladies of Qinhuai after the collapse of Nandu. When she talked about the scene of the Qing people burning and looting after entering the customs, she said: "I have fallen into a point, and who complains again." Then Xie Qin played a song for Wu Weiye.

Wu Weiye and Bian Yujing: Bo Xing Xiaolang, who will eventually bear Qingqing in this life

Wu Meicun wrote a long poem "Listening to the Female Daoist Bian Yujing Playing the Piano Song", and since then, the two have scattered and never met again.

After leaving Wu Meicun's home, Bian Yujing lived in seclusion in Huishan, Wuxi, and spent all day sad as a companion, thanks to the careful care of an old Chinese medicine doctor, and specially built a house for her, so that she could practice at ease. After entering the Dao, she held extremely strict disciplines, never broke the precepts, and even her old friend Qian Qianyi did not come to see her, and a generation of famous prostitutes who had once been in the limelight disappeared.

In order to repay the meticulous care of the old Chinese medicine doctor, Bian Yujing once pierced his tongue and spent three years writing the Lotus Sutra with tongue blood to the old Chinese medicine doctor.

Bian Yujing spent another ten years in sorrow and bitterness, and in 1665, the incense was destroyed.

In September of the seventh year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1668), Wu Meicun, who was sixty years old, stepped on Xiao Xiao's fallen leaves and went to Wuxi to pay homage to bian Yujing's tomb, and dedicated their unforgettable love to sing "Passing through the Tomb of Yujing Daoren in jinshu forest and preface":

Oil wall incense car tour here, who knows is the West Mausoleum.

As soon as Zitai was gone, the blue bird did not return the letter alone.

Looking back at the personal situation of Wu Meicun, after the Qing soldiers went south, they lived in seclusion for a long time. Wu Weiye's son, Chen Zhiyi, was a chancellor of the Ming Dynasty, who tried to borrow Wu Weiye's prestige and literary talent to become a lord, and at the same time hoped that Wu Weiye could also enter the cabinet to expand his power, so he strongly recommended Wu Weiye Shiqing as an official.

Because Wu Weiye's prestige in the first dynasty was extremely high, many of his friends and ordinary remnants of the people firmly opposed this and vigorously discouraged it. However, Wu Weiye was intimidated by the Qing court's obscenity and urged by his mother, and was forced to go north in September of the tenth year of Shunzhi (1653).

After joining the army, Wu Meicun was appointed as a secretary to serve as an attendant, and later promoted to the rank of guozi to supervise the sacrifice of wine. However, Wu Wei was extremely sorry for his Own Qu Jie Shiqing, and he was remorseful and often borrowed poems to write mourning. At the end of the thirteenth year of Shunzhi (1656), Wu Meicun returned to Ding Younan and never returned to shi.

In the summer of the tenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1671), jiangnan was extremely hot, Wu Weiye "old diseases are great, phlegm is like a saw, and his chest is moving like a pestle", he had a premonition that he would soon die, so he left his last words: I have suffered from all kinds of dangers in my life, there is no moment without hardship, there is no situation that does not taste hardships, and I am a great suffering person in the world. After my death, I was buried in a monk's tomb similar to Deng Wei Lingyan, and a cobblestone was erected in front of the tomb, which is called:"The Tomb of the Poet Wu Weiye".

At the time of his death, Bian Yujing's amorous and resentful eyes appeared in front of his eyes, and he couldn't help but deeply blame himself:

Endure death and steal more than twenty years, and now how to get rid of sins.

Debts owed by grace must be made up, even if they are worse than Hong Mao.

On December 24 of that year (January 23, 1672), a generation of great poets Wu Weiye died of illness at the age of 63.
