Wang Huo's father, Wang Kaijiang, was a native of Rudong, Jiangsu Province, and was admitted to the Chinese Public School in Shanghai to study political science and law, and also studied at Waseda University in Tokyo. In 1920, he returned to Shanghai and became a lawyer and founded Hosei University. Wang Huo was born in Shanghai. When I was a child, my family lived in Yufuli, Xiaodongmen, Shanghai, and my neighbors were celebrities from Shanghai Beach, such as the famous scholar Zhang Taiyan and the founder of Chinese pop music and musician Li Jinhui. Li Jinhui is also the father of Wang Huo's brother. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wang Huo followed his father from Nanjing to Wuhu, Anhui, from Wuhu to Nanling, from Nanling to Anqing, from Anqing to Hankou, then from Hankou to Guangzhou, from Guangzhou to Hong Kong, spending his youth and youth in turbulent times. In 1942, at the age of 18, Wang Huo went alone to Jiangjin, Chongqing, to join his cousin and attend high school at the National Ninth Middle School in Jiangjin.

After that, Wang Huo was admitted to the Department of Journalism of Fudan University. Deeply influenced by Mr. Xiao Qian. During my studies, I began to write news reports. After the suspension of "Chinese Workers", in 1961, Wang Huo was transferred to Linyi, Shandong Province, and became the principal of Linyi No. 1 Middle School, a provincial key middle school. In 1983, Wang Huo was transferred to Sichuan to engage in publishing work and served as the deputy editor-in-chief of the Sichuan People's Publishing House.

Born in Shanghai, he has worked and lived in Nanjing, Chongqing, Beijing and Linyi, Shandong. He came to Sichuan in 1983 and stayed in Sichuan for 35 years. Wang Huo is very nostalgic for Shanghai and Nanjing, "I was born in Shanghai and have precious childhood memories in Nanjing.
