But Longkodo soon showed his loyalty, and he assured Kangxi that he would be a good assistant, do his job well, and be loyal to the imperial court, even if it was for the sake of the imperial court, he was not afraid, and Kangxi was relieved to hear it.
With the protection of Longkodo's forces behind, Aisin Gyoro Yinhe also successfully defeated other princes to ascend the throne, and became known as the Yongzheng Emperor.

Now Yongzheng's approach is undoubtedly to bring Longkodo to justice even at the expense of the land of the Qing Dynasty! It can be seen that the Yongzheng Emperor is angry with Longkodo. In the eyes of the Yongzheng Emperor, that was the great crime of rebellion.
Therefore, in the fifth year of the Yongzheng Dynasty, the Council of Kings and Ministers decided to convict Longkodo of a total of forty-one crimes, including supplementary crimes such as Shu Nian Xinyao.
To add, this Nian Xinyao was also suppressed by Yongzheng before, and before Yongzheng removed Longkodo from the position of commander of the infantry army, the reason was also arrogant and domineering, colluding with bureaucrats behind his back, and there are many similarities with Longkodo now, when Longkodo was removed from his post largely because he covered up Nian Xinyao's crimes, and now the new accounts and old accounts are calculated together.
By now, Ronkodo was unable to return to heaven, but the thief tried to expose other ministers, and kept revealing who was with him in front of the Yongzheng, at this time many ministers could not sit still, for fear that Ronkodo would expose himself, so they all asked him to be sentenced to death and executed immediately! But Yongzheng is still cautious after all!
In order not to let the charge of indiscriminate killing fall on his head, he did not immediately deal with the minister in Longkodo's mouth, but locked him up near Changchunyuan under the guise of his uncle and nephew. Soon after, Ronkodo died in captivity in Changchunyuan.
At this time, Yongzheng knew where his father's wisdom was embodied, no ministers and relatives could use it for a long time, people would eventually lose their resignation and heart in the face of power and money, and some people could only use it for a while, not for a lifetime!

The Kangxi Emperor also discovered the factor that Longkeduo was dishonest and might rebel, so he issued two edicts requiring him to be buried together, but for the sake of his ability to command the army, Kangxi still let him assist Yongzheng to ascend to the throne, but the rest of the road still depends on Yongzheng himself, and it is beneficial to the Qing dynasty to get rid of Longkodo.
