On May 27, the "Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Metaverse" forum, hosted by the Organizing Committee of the China International Big Data Industry Expo and undertaken by People's Daily Digital Communication Co., Ltd., was held in Guiyang. Experts and scholars from more than 10 countries gathered together to discuss the development achievements of big data, the development of the digital economy, the technical iteration, scenario application and future trends of the metaverse.
At the forum, Lu Yongzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, pointed out in his speech that the all-round and deep integration of digital technology and the real economy has profoundly affected the global scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. In the face of the opportunities and challenges brought by digitalization, the international community needs to join hands to conform to the trend of informatization, digitalization, networking and intelligent development, deepen pragmatic exchanges and cooperation, narrow the global digital divide, and work together to embark on a global digital development path of digital resource co-construction and sharing, digital economy bursting, efficient and accurate digital governance, strong digital security guarantee, and mutually beneficial digital cooperation, so that digital civilization can better benefit the people of all countries and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Qaiser Nawab, founder and executive director of the United Nations Global Sustainable Development Strategy (GSISD) and an expert on the international "Belt and Road" initiative, said that today, China is leading a new round of digital industrial revolution and is promoting digital governance in this regard, which is conducive to the sustainable development of human society. China is providing Chinese wisdom to other countries, and China's development and modernity in China and the embedding of big data analytics, as well as the realization of digital technology, are driving the development of the world. The Belt and Road Initiative proposed by China is a very forward-looking development initiative with great potential to bring prosperity to countries along the route and promote the well-being of people around the world.
In the keynote speech session, the guests shared their views on the two themes of "Building a Digital Silk Road" and "Sharing an Intelligent Future". Christine Susanna Tjhin, Director of Strategic Research Department of Gentara Institute in Jakarta, Indonesia, shared Indonesia's expectations for digital technology and willingness to work with China to promote the construction of the Digital Silk Road with the theme of "Indonesia-China Strategic Partnership 4.0: Towards an Inclusive and Humane Digital Order". Li Anmin, co-chairman of the Metaverse Industry Committee of the China Mobile Communications Association, proposed that we should follow the trend and grasp the development law with the topic of "Promoting the High-quality Integration and Development of AI and the Industrial Metaverse"; integrated development and security; Three suggestions for promoting the high-quality integration of AI and the industrial metaverse.
In the dialogue session, the guests also focused on the two themes of artificial intelligence empowering life sciences - opportunities and challenges, and metaverse aggregation new kinetic energy - digital and real integration to help industrial development.
At the forum, the new generation of digital intelligent media broadcast control platform independently developed by People's Daily Digital Communication Co., Ltd. was officially released; In the release of the Metaverse Industry Demonstration Results, 3 companies were awarded the plaque of China's Industry-University-Research Cooperation Demonstration Enterprise, and 4 artificial intelligence metaverse bases were awarded the plaque of the Metaverse Industry Concession Demonstration Base.
