In 2021, the 120th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Ma Lianliang, the founder of Peking Opera Ma Pai, the Beijing Opera House held a series of artistic activities to commemorate the great master of Peking Opera and the founder of the Beijing Peking Opera. This time Zhang Kai's personal special performance is named "Kaige Loud Ma Xiaoxiao", which shows the legend of Ma Lianliang, Zhang Xuejin, Zhu Qiang, and Zhang Kai. Zhang Kai graduated from the Acting Department of the China Academy of Performing Arts in 2007 and joined the Beijing Opera House in the same year.
As a master, Zhu Qiang believes that learning the Horse Sect requires long-term unremitting efforts and pursuits, and only in the practice of grinding can it be gradually improved. In the past three years, Zhang Kai has studied and practiced on the stage and performed "The Orphan of Zhao", "Huaihe Camp", "Three Niangs Godson", "Su Wu Muyang", "Dragon Play Phoenix", "Heroes of the Crowd , Borrowing the East Wind", "Beating nephews on the grave" and other Ma Pai plays.
