Li Jing and Feng Zhihua inspected and guided flood prevention work

On September 27, Li Jing, deputy governor of the government, and Feng Zhihua, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, successively went to Zhaiputa Township, Zhangzhuang Town, Beiwang Town, and Dongzhang Township to inspect and guide the flood prevention work.

In Zhaiquta Township, Li Jing and his party went to the Shanjiao River Valley and the homes of nearby residents to check in detail the road traffic, house damage, and river flooding, and went to the Yan'aogou Reservoir in Beiwang Town to understand the water level and flood storage of the reservoir.

Li Jing stressed: Flood prevention work is the most important task in the current work, and all units, townships, and towns must earnestly shoulder their responsibilities, tighten the safety string at all times, and always keep the safety of the people's lives and property in mind and grasp it in their hands. All townships and towns should promptly pull up cordons at landslide points and traffic hazard points, set up signs, and ensure road traffic safety; for rural adobe houses, they should conduct house-to-house mapping, increase the intensity of inspection, ensure that they should be moved as much as possible, and ensure the safety of personnel. It is necessary to publicize the knowledge of self-help and self-protection to the villagers, call on the villagers to carry out self-help, and earnestly enhance their awareness of flood prevention. At the same time, all units and townships should increase the intensity of duty duty, pay close attention to weather changes, strengthen supervision and inspection, and implement various measures to the letter to ensure the safety of the people's lives and property.

Li Jing and his entourage also went to Mijiayuan Village, Impression Pastoral Village, Weijiahe Village, Beiwang Town Du Village, and Yaotou Village in Dongzhang Township to conduct a detailed inspection of the disaster situation of millet, shellfish pumpkin, sorghum, pepper, peach, and other crops. She demanded that the county agricultural, rural, and water conservancy bureaus organize experts from the academies and counties to go deep into the fields to support the people, help the villagers to grab the harvest scientifically, and minimize the property losses of the masses.
