With a wave of the magic wand, the animal came uninvited.
Today I would like to introduce you to a bird with a blue head, a green body, and a little red, just like our treasure island of Taiwan, which is the blue-headed parrot.

Blue-headed parrot (Pionus menstruus) is a medium-sized parrot that is about 28 cm long and weighs about 200–260 g. They live mainly in South America, covering almost the entire region of South and Central America, with the exception of the Andes Mountains, which are more than 1500 meters above sea level. Among all the regions, Brazil, Bolivia, Costa Rica and Venezuela are particularly liked.

Their bodies are green, like common parrots. However, as the name suggests, blue-headed parrots have a dark blue head, a feature that makes them easily distinguished from parrots. In addition to this, they have white eye circles and a black beak, which is usually larger than other parrots, which allows them to bite open the hard nut shell. However, it is surprising that their feathers at the throat and the feathers at the tail are still a little red, and the black beak is also a little red.

As we all know, all parties in Taiwan are treed in different colors, the KMT is generally "blue", the DPP is generally "green", and the pro-China political parties are generally "red". The Kuomintang generally firmly controlled the Taipei area, the DPP started from the south until it controlled the power in Taiwan, and the pro-China faction was like a spark that could not yet burn the plains.
The blue-headed parrot is as big as a treasure island, and the blue of the head is like Taipei controlled by the Kuomintang, but the body is almost all covered in green, just like the DPP that is currently pressed against the Kuomintang on the one side of the polls. The wind of the green camp blows and blows, making the whole island green.
"Really fake? I believe you say that. It seems that we in Taiwan are now the focus of the whole world! The blue-headed parrot host said.
In fact, blue-headed parrots are widely present as pet birds. They are usually a relatively quiet parrot and are not so good at learning languages. However, rats can make holes, and the blue-headed parrot can still learn more than 20 words and sentences.

Although male or female blue-headed parrots are similar in appearance, they do not have as much blue in their heads during their juvenile stages. It can take up to two years for the head to turn completely blue.
You may think that two years is a long time, but in fact, the life span of the blue-headed parrot is quite long. Properly maintained, well-nourished blue-headed parrots can live to be over 30 years old and up to 40 years old.
They like to camp in a tree hole, you see the tree is crumbling, they are still enjoying it. But they said that sooner or later the government would demolish them and would make up a house for them. So they became the pets in the family.

The breeding season begins in May, when the mother lays 3-5 white eggs in the nest. Baby parrots are weaned at about 12 weeks, usually independent at 3 months of age, and reach sexual maturity at 2-4 years of age. Maturity does not equal independence, they still prefer to live in groups.

Whoops, it's hot, you see they start nibbling on the pods. In fact, raising blue-headed parrots does not require buying vitamins or nutritional supplements, the most important thing is to provide a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits, and also to provide some nuts. In addition, spirulina can make the colors on their bodies more vivid and bright.

In the current treasure island, green occupies an absolute advantage, and the power of blue is gradually declining. Don't forget that little bit of red, though.
After all
The spark of a spark can ignite the plains.
