Sichuan Cycads are mostly distributed in the Area of Emei Mountain at an altitude of 550 to 630 meters above sea level around Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple.

Fir, also known as Emei fir, is an evergreen plant of the Pine family, which is the main tree species and important forest resources in Emei Mountain, mainly distributed in the alpine area of Mount Emei at an altitude of 2000 to 3099 meters from elephant washing pond to Jinding.

Fir is vigorous in shape, with a straight trunk and a tower-shaped canopy, reaching a height of more than 30 meters and reaching an age of 200 to 400 years.

Incense tree

Lianxiang tree belongs to the single family of lianxiang trees in the family Lianxiang tree. Lianxiang tree is a precious and rare tree species in Mount Emei, which is a relict plant left over from the Quaternary glacier and has now been listed as a national second-class protected plant.

The incense tree belongs to the large deciduous tree, the tree is about 25 meters high, the old tree is gray-brown, the longitudinal lobes are thin flakes peeling, and the short branches are opposite on the long branches. Sex likes temperature, not tolerant of shade. It is narrow and sparse, and grows only in the jungle at an altitude of 1700 meters.

Goosefoot

It belongs to the genus Lycaenidae in the magnolia family. Deciduous trees, up to 40 meters high and up to 1 meter in diameter.

The leaves are coat-shaped, so it is also called horse coat wood. It is mainly produced in Longchi in the foothills of Mount Emei, with strange leaves, which is a precious ornamental tree species in the world. The state has been classified as a grade II protected plant.

Sichuan wood lotus

Sichuan Mulian is a famous ornamental plant of Mount Emei and one of the oldest angiosperms.

Sichuan muliss belongs to the magnolia family Officinalis is an evergreen tree of the genus Mullein. It is about 15 meters high and has a thick canopy. The climate of the Emei Mountain area is warm and humid, and the soil is fertile, which is very suitable for the growth of Sichuan wood lotus. Sichuan mulian is mainly distributed in the 99 Daojiao, Jiulao Cave, Lotus Stone area and near the Center of The Heart of Emei at an altitude of 1400 to 2000 meters above sea level.

Tung tong, also known as water pear, because the shape of the oval fruit core is slightly similar to a pear, is the most valuable ornamental plant in Mount Emei, a specialty of China, belonging to the national 8 kinds of first-class key protected plants in the treasure.

It is distributed at an altitude of 1400 to 2000 meters above sea level in Daping, Jiulaodong, Yuxian Temple, Jiulinggang, Elephant Wash Pond and Gongbei Mountain in the Emei Mountain area.

It belongs to the blue fruit tree family, a genus of plants, the only genus, is a deciduous tree, the tree height is usually 10 to 15 meters, up to more than 20 meters high. The tree is neatly shaped, with the apex branches extending obliquely upwards and the lower branches flattening outwards to form a conical canopy. The leaf surface is distinctly green, alternate, papery, broadly ovate, tapering at the apex, coarsely serrated at the edges, and the dorsal surface of the leaf is covered with dense silky white fluff.

The flowers are particularly peculiar and beautiful. Heterogeneous flowers, each flower has no petals, by most of the male flowers gathered into a head-shaped inflorescence, the apex is a sex flower, under the inflorescence there are two large white bracts, that is, often mistakenly "flowers".

From the end of April to the beginning of the 5th, the trees and honeysuckles flutter, like a flock of pigeons perched on the treetops, spreading their wings and flying, so it is known as "pigeon flower".

It is a relict plant left over from the late Tertiary Period of the Cenozoic Era 10 million years ago, known as "plant living fossils". It was only discovered in China in the 19th century that European and American botanists named it "Chinese Pigeon Tree". It is one of the four famous flowers of Mount Emei.

Primroses

Primrose is one of the four famous flowers of Mount Emei. There are ten major varieties in the whole Emei Mountain: Tibetan Primrose, Fresh Lotus Primrose, Egg Leaf Primrose, Weiqi Primrose, Chuannan Primrose, Yingyang Primrose, Leaf Primrose, Shallow Split Leaf Primrose, Narrow Split Leaf Primrose and Emei Primrose.

It usually blooms in early spring, but also blooms early in the spring, hence the name.
