Kanas Scenic Area
Kanas Scenic Area is located in the deep mountains and dense forests of Altay Region, about 800 kilometers away from the capital Urumqi, including Kanas Lake Scenic Area, Hemu Village, Baihaba Village and other famous scenic spots. Kanas Village
This village inhabited by Tuvans and ethnic Kazakhs is divided into two parts: the old village and the new village. The old village is located on the east bank of the Kanas River, 2 kilometers further north to the outlet of Kanas Lake, near the cruise ship terminal and rafting starting point; The new village has to cross the bridge to the west bank and travel another 2 kilometers. In addition to providing basic services such as food and lodging, Kanas Village can also participate in Tuva home visits (80 yuan per person), enjoy traditional music performances such as Humai and Sur, and taste home-cooked food such as milk pimples. Genghis Khan is located 1 km south of the interchange center, but there are no historical sites to see, but the location on the hillside overlooks the river valley from above. Located 4 kilometers south of Xincun, the Shouting Spring is a sacred place in the hearts of the Tuvans due to the special geological formations that can be summoned by the shout; It needs to be reached on foot or on horseback.
Kanas Lake
Kanas's latitude is as high as 48 degrees north latitude, so a glacial landscape develops on the southwestern slope of Youyi Peak at an altitude of only 2,500 meters. This is the lowest valley glacier in China, and the river formed by meltwater is the Kanas River; The south-flowing river accumulates a wide, gentle lake in a pod-shaped depression valley, which is the Kanas Lake represented by the subarctic alpine valley lake.
There is a pure lake completely isolated from human pollution, and the popular "Kanas Lake Monster" story adds mystery to it; On the shore, primeval taiga and birch forests, mainly in the European taiga, grow, and a long scroll of scenery comparable to the Nordic ice fields is displayed here.

They are separated by 2-3 kilometers from each other, and each has its own scenery, and they all transform into a fairyland in the morning mist.
Due to the special geographical structure and climate, the frequency of morning fog in Sanwan is very high - every morning (except winter), there is a special morning fog zone bus next to the transfer center, which stops at Sanwan in turn. Be sure to get up early to catch the morning fog - and because of the two-hour time difference with the mainland, the dawn in Kanas is obviously not so early, and it is not hard to get up in the morning.

In addition to overlooking Sanwan from the observation deck next to the halfway road, you can also go down to the bottom of the valley and stroll along the wooden boardwalk along the riverside. You'll walk deep into the dense taiga and birch forests, and you'll be able to descend to rocky beaches and touch the crystal clear river. The plank road that strung together Sanwan is about 5 kilometers long, and if you are tired of walking, you can return to the section station to stop the train and leave; If you have the strength to spare, you can continue to hike north from Shenxian Bay, about 4 kilometers to the transfer center, and in the middle you will pass Kamozawa Lake where Ao Bao is built on the shore.
How to avoid the large army to take beautiful photos?
There is only one answer, Kanas Lake and each of the three bays choose a short hike.
1. Fish viewing platform: there is only one route up and down that many people can't avoid.
2. Kanas Lake: Don't go to the cruise terminal, it's all tours. Go down from the left hand boardwalk of the docking station and walk in the opposite direction of the pier, there are few beautiful people.

Three bays: the whole hike of the three bays is 5.4 kilometers, Shenxian Bay to Moon Bay is 3.2 kilometers, the plank road is in the middle of the hill, you need to pass through a section of forest, far from the water. Moon Bay to Wolong Bay 2.2 kilometers, the boardwalk along the water's edge is beautiful and there are few tourists, and hiking is highly recommended!!
4. Be sure to go down from Moon Bay to Wolong Bay! Because hiking from Moon Bay is the downhill direction, and the steps of Moon Bay are longer and steeper than those in Wolong Bay, the ascent is more difficult!

Kanas rafting
The green waters and white waves of the Kanas River are best for rafting. The rafting pier next to the cruise pier offers rafting programs that descend about 8 kilometers down the river and end near Kamozawa Lake, and the fare is 200 yuan including repatriation to the village.
Hemu Village
