The entire workshop is located under the tin greenhouse, and from time to time there are water sprays on the greenhouse to cool down. In the face of high temperature weather and the production tasks of enterprises, the trade union of Xijiang Glass Factory has taken a series of measures to provide guarantees for employees to fight high temperatures and seize high yields in high temperature environments. Guo Zhiquan, chairman of the factory's trade union, told reporters that the company issued a high temperature allowance to employees in accordance with the law from June to October, and boiled herbal tea and sugar porridge once a week. The trade union also purchased the necessary heat-proof and cooling emergency drugs to ensure the health of the majority of employees. According to reports, Xijiang Glass Factory will invest in new energy furnaces, and use electric furnaces to replace the furnaces that burn heavy oil, at which time, the working environment of employees will be further improved.

Can employees of special types of work in non-public enterprises retire early?

Article 1 (2) of the State Council's Interim Measures on the Retirement and Retirement of Workers (Guo Fa [1978] No. 104) stipulates that those who engage in underground, high-altitude, high-altitude, high-temperature, particularly heavy physical labor or other work harmful to physical health, males who are at least 55 years old, females who have reached the age of 45, and who have worked continuously for ten years, shall retire.

However, since the factory was restructured from a state-owned enterprise to a joint-stock enterprise in 1998 and has lost its status as a state-owned enterprise, there is "no legal basis" for the early retirement of these special types of workers.
The reporter consulted the Pension Insurance Section of the Yunfu Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on this issue, and the reply was that Yunfu City is still implementing Guo Fa [1978] No. 104, and its scope of application includes state-owned enterprises, collective enterprises and enterprises owned by the whole people, foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises are not within the scope, and the transformed Xijiang Glass Factory is a private enterprise and is not within the scope of policy application.
