Recently, when the reporter met Zhang Guomin, deputy head of the substation operation and maintenance team of the State Grid Pidu Power Supply Company, he was carrying out inspection and maintenance with his colleagues at the Pi tube substation.
Rooted in the substation, guarding tens of millions of homes. After graduating from his bachelor's degree in 2012 and entering the State Grid Pidu Power Supply Company, he has been rooted in the first line of substation for nearly ten years, growing from an ordinary power employee to a technical skill. In the day-to-day equipment inspection, through repeated observation, he grasped the characteristics and phenomena of various equipment under different operating conditions in detail, created a four-step inspection method of "looking, hearing and cutting" for practical work, found subtle abnormalities in equipment many times, and effectively handled 14 serious hidden dangers and critical defects. Since the work, Zhang Guomin has also participated in important tasks such as the acceptance and operation of 3 110kV substations and 2 35kV substations, which have been put into safe and smooth operation, greatly optimizing the local power supply structure, and effectively providing and expanding power supply support.
"The substation is the screw in the center of the power grid, and once it goes wrong, it will not only affect the equipment, but also lead to a large-scale power outage, affecting the normal use of electricity in the area." Zhang Guomin recalled that in the summer of 2016, Pidu continued to be hot, in order to solve the problem of high oil temperature under the heavy load of the main transformer, he took the lead in organizing team employees to carry out quality management (QC) activities. The design and invention of the heat sink water spray cooling system greatly reduces the temperature of the equipment and ensures the safe and stable operation of the main transformer. It is reported that the small invention also won the Excellent QC Achievement Award of the State Grid Chengdu Power Supply Company, and he also won the title of "Bright Guardian" of the Chengdu Power Supply Company in the summer of 2016. Verifying the theory in practice and refining the practice into theory, Zhang Guomin, who has excellent technology, has compiled and revised the substation operation procedures and typical operation tickets 18 times, providing a reliable reference for colleagues' daily operation and maintenance and accident handling.
The test of "ten years of grinding a sword", Zhang Guomin still has a strong initial heart. As a party member, Zhang Guomin has always insisted on charging ahead, and remembers that in early 2020, the new crown epidemic struck, and he immediately returned to the task of epidemic prevention and power supply for the New Year in other places. During the period, he organized the young employees of the team to carry out 107 special inspections of power protection, and participated in epidemic prevention and power protection and rescue 6 times. In 2015, in response to the call of the organization, he resolutely went to Shiqu County at an altitude of 4200 meters to provide support and assistance, and won the 2015 Ganzi Electric Power Company Excellent Helper and the 2015 Chengdu Power Supply Company Advanced Worker.
