Billups: I learned from Joe Dumas how to become a champion

Tiger Poker September 16, 2016 Blazers head coach Chansi Billups talked about Pistons star Joe Dumas in a recent interview with the media.

"I feel like I learned from Joe Dumas how to be a champion, and from a personal and personality point of view, not only the team I'm in and the team he's building, he's really able to connect with other people, and I feel like I'm able to do a good job of that, too." Billups said.

The Blazers parted ways with Terry Stotts in the offseason and subsequently hired Billups as head coach.
