Myanmar Myawaddy, which is more terrible than northern Burma, is fighting again, all mines planted by the British

The headquarters of the Gawaizi Group, fighting again.

This past weekend, the Myawaddy border trade area in Myanmar's Karen State was attacked by unknown militants, killing five customs workers. The day before, other departments in the border trade zone were also attacked by armed forces, forcing the military to dispatch helicopters, and the two sides fought for hours, resulting in many injuries.

Conflict broke out in Myawaddy in Karen State, Myanmar

Kayin State is located in southeastern Myanmar, not the same place as northern Myanmar, where the online fires were raging. But the level of danger here is no worse than that of northern Myanmar, not to mention the rampant pornography, gambling and drugs, telecommunications fraud and armed conflicts. Let's just say that there is still a glimmer of life in northern Myanmar who has been deceived, and it is only when it comes to Myawaddy that there is really no return.

Myawaddy is the second largest port city in Myanmar, across the river from Thailand's Mae Sot Special Zone, and foreign trade is relatively developed. If you see a job advertisement for Thailand's Mae Sot Special Economic Zone on the Internet, you should pay more attention, because the actual place of work is most likely Myowaddy, known as the "headquarters of the Gajiazi".

Why is it said that Myowaddy is the headquarters of Gawaizi, and not northern Myanmar, where the melon-eating masses have changed their colors? First of all, the terrain of Myawaddy is extremely complex, surrounded by rivers on three sides, and the difficulty of escape is more than a little and a half higher than that of northern Myanmar.

Myawaddy

If you want to run outside the scam park, you can either cross the river and smuggle it to Thailand, and then be arrested by the Thai police and packed and sent back; Either they flee from the only land direction, where risks include, but are not limited to, sentinels and wolf dogs guarding the park and beyond, widespread criminals and human traffickers, and armed conflict that could break out at any time...

If you are indeed the lucky "chosen son" and successfully escaped from Myawaddy to return home, you will inevitably pass through northern Myanmar on the way, and the outcome is very similar, but escape from one wolf's den to another.

Second, the criminal syndicates in Myawaddy are more brutal and vicious than in northern Myanmar. In northern Myanmar, if you give a high enough ransom, there is hope that you will be released.

Myanmar telecom fraud

And in Myawaddy, the desire of the fraud gang is filled, giving 50,000 for 100,000, giving 100,000 for 200,000, don't go bankrupt, you will never stop, and you will not release people in the end. Children make choices, Myawaddy criminals said: I want people and money!

It can be said that so far, no one has been released from Myowaddy, and those who can come back are strongmen with both strength and luck. Therefore, when looking for a job, don't take chances, see the trade zone and special economic zone and be moved, even if there is really a job with a monthly income of more than 10,000, the risk and benefit are not proportional.

After talking about the fraud syndicate and the gazette, let's talk about the armed conflict in Kayin State. The Karen are Myanmar's third largest ethnic group and the second largest ethnic minority, with long-standing separatist tendencies and a thorn in the heart of the Myanmar government. Speaking of which, this is still the bane laid by the British.

Karen people

At the beginning of the 19th century, Britain, which had already established itself in India, extended its black hand to the Indochina Peninsula. After three Anglo-Burmese wars, Burma became a British colony and became part of British India.

As we all know, the British are best at "balance of power", promoting the minority to suppress the majority, so as to consolidate colonial rule. Myanmar is no exception, with the majority of the population living in the plains of the middle zone, while ethnic minorities are distributed in the mountainous areas of the southeast, northwest and southwest.

The British adapted to local conditions, politically granted ethnic minorities in remote areas a high degree of autonomy, and vigorously supported local armed forces to contain the power of the Burmese and the central government.

Karen soldiers

After the independence of Myanmar, the Burmese returned to power, and the ethnic minorities with guns in their hands were suppressed, and the final result was inevitably to seek independent autonomy, and the Karen people were among the leaders.

The Karen National Union (KNU), Myanmar's largest rebel group, is one of the none. The Burmese military government launched two large-scale offensives against it in the 90s, but with the support of Western countries such as the United States and Britain, the KNU was not eliminated, but fought a long-term guerrilla war with the government army, and at its strongest, it once had 60,000 troops.

It was not until 2004 that the two sides reached a preliminary verbal ceasefire agreement, held peace talks in 2012, and signed a nationwide ceasefire agreement with the central government in 2015, along with other ethnic minority forces. But everyone knows in their hearts that the so-called ceasefire is just that there is no large-scale fighting, and small armed conflicts are inevitable.

Myanmar Government Army

It is very likely that KNU was responsible for this attack on the border trade zone. Since it is a border trade zone, there must be a lot of trade with neighboring countries, and in the view of the Karen separatist forces, the central government of Myanmar is taking the resources of their territory to do business with foreign countries to make money, which is an infringement and threat to the interests of the Karen ethnic group and must be stopped.

Even if it can't be stopped, it can respond to the Myanmar government and cause panic among foreign partners and investors, which can be regarded as achieving their political goals in disguise.

No one knows how long this chaos will last, but what is certain is that if the British had not stirred up peace and given Myanmar a peaceful and stable political situation, there would not be so many people in this land today, armed with AK47s and daggers, ready to rattle the waist of foreigners.
