According to the news of the "Shanghai Release" WeChat public account on September 14, on the morning of September 13, the Minhang District of Shanghai held a meeting of responsible party and government cadres in the whole district. The meeting announced the decision of the municipal party committee: Comrade Chen Yujian will be appointed secretary of the Minhang District CPC Committee; Comrades Chen Huawen and Tang Jinsong will be appointed as members, standing committee members, and deputy secretaries of the Minhang District CPC Committee; Comrade Ni Yaoming will no longer hold the posts of secretary, standing committee, and member of the Minhang District CPC Committee and will be appointed in another position; and Comrade Wang Guanbao will no longer serve as deputy secretary of the Minhang District CPC Committee and a member of the Standing Committee.

On the morning of September 13, a meeting of responsible party and government cadres of the whole region was held in Jinshan District, Shanghai. The meeting announced that the municipal party committee had decided that Comrade Liu Jian would be appointed secretary of the Jinshan District CPC Committee; Comrade Li Zelong would be appointed as a member, standing committee member, and deputy secretary of the Jinshan District CPC Committee; and Comrade Hu Weiguo would no longer hold the posts of secretary, standing committee, and member of the Jinshan District CPC Committee and would be appointed separately.

On the morning of September 13, a meeting of responsible party and government cadres of the whole district was held in Qingpu District, Shanghai. The meeting announced that the municipal party committee had decided that Comrade Xu Jian would be appointed secretary of the Qingpu District CPC Committee; Comrade Zhang Quanquan would be appointed as a member, standing committee member, and deputy secretary of the Qingpu District CPC Committee; and Comrade Zhao Huiqin would no longer serve as secretary, standing committee member, and member of the Qingpu District CPC Committee, and would be appointed to another position.
