The first homicide case of this year occurred at Fudu Hotel on Avenida du Nova Road, Macao, a local woman was found dead in a hotel room yesterday.
The deceased was about 46 years old, a resident of Macau, who had been dead for at least one day when he was found. It is reported that the female deceased was suspected of engaging in prostitution before her death, and it cannot be ruled out that she was robbed and killed.
The police said that at 10:50 a.m. yesterday, they received a notice from the Public Security Inspection Bureau and the Fire Department that the body of a woman had been found in a hotel room near Central District and requested that officers be dispatched to investigate. Police officers arrived at the scene and, after preliminary investigation, found that the deceased had multiple unusual scars on his head, and immediately initiated the serious crime scene investigation procedure. The Police Officer said that the case was provisionally classified as a homicide case and had been referred to the Investigation Bureau for follow-up.
The scene of the crime was the Fudu Hotel on Xinma Road. It is reported that the hotel staff found the report in the morning, and the deceased was buried in the bathroom, and there were blood stains at the scene. Forensic officers dressed in white carefully collected evidence at the scene, and after the incident, many bags of evidence were seized, including the deceased's clothes and personal belongings, bed linen in the room, bath towels, etc. The body of the deceased was later removed by servants pending further examination by a forensic doctor to determine the cause of death.
