Because of the long-term isolation, some of the marriage systems here still retain the original appearance, "one woman and two husbands", where a brother only takes one wife, and the brothers never separate. This is a long-standing custom in the Yubang village, and in their opinion, this can both maintain family ties and abide by their traditional customs.
This also makes a family in Yubang Village only need a hostess to run the household, when the brother in the family marries his sister-in-law and goes home, as long as the brothers work together not to separate the family, the younger brother can also treat the sister-in-law as his wife, which is what we call the phenomenon of one female maid and two husbands is unique to the mainland, and their family can live so happily forever.
Because it is sparsely populated, almost isolated from the world, and since ancient times, there is only one horse road leading to the outside world, so some people say that this is Tao Yuanming's "paradise". There are no high-rise buildings here, but it is still a traditional way of farming and animal husbandry, and the cattle, sheep and mules and horses walking leisurely on the dirt and stone roads all show the isolation of this village.
Nowadays, with the progress of society, Yubang Village has gradually become well-known to everyone and has become a place where donkey friends compete to go. The locals who live here have also begun to transform their old houses into inns suitable for trekkers, with beds and rooms ranging from 50 to 200.
Some are only made into restaurants or shops, and the price will be much more expensive than outside, such as a bottle of Coke 7 yuan, a bowl of beef noodles 40 yuan.
