The little boy already had instability in his heart. At the age of 10, Zhang Chu ran away from home for the first time.
In 1985, at the age of 17, Zhang Chu was admitted to the Department of Civil Engineering of Shaanxi Mechanical College (Xi'an University of Technology).
The small flame of music has been strung around in Zhang Chu's head.
In his junior year, Zhang Chu dropped out of school and came to Beijing to form the Poison Band to pursue his musical dreams.
In 1989, in his classmates' dormitory, Zhang Chu wrote the song "Sister", which has entered the annals of Chinese rock music.

In 1969, a family in Beijing surnamed He welcomed a little boy named He Yong.
He Yong studied music with his father at the age of 5, participated in the children's film "Four Little Friends" at the age of 11, and began to contact popular music in middle school, learning guitar and three strings, and was born as a proper child star.
He Yong, 15 years old, has already started his acting career as a guitarist and composed his first song "The First Drift of the Yangtze River".
In 1991, He Yong signed into the Magic Rock Culture.

In 1969, in a large courtyard in Beijing, a family surnamed Dou welcomed a little boy named Dou Wei.
The father, who loves folk music, lets his son play the flute. 6-year-old Dou Wei can perform in front of the kindergarten children.
When they were in middle school, their parents divorced, and Dou Wei and his sister lived with their mother.
In 1985, Dou Wei entered vocational high school, his studies were very relaxed, and he learned guitar again.
In the turmoil of adolescence, Dou Wei wanted to use music to express his attitude.
18-year-old Dou Wei was admitted to the Beijing Youth Light Music Troupe and finally got involved with music. He began to perform in caves, singing Jiang Dawei and cui jian; singing Qi Qin and also singing English songs, interspersed with break dance.

Dou Wei took over almost all the songwriting of the band.

In 1991, Dou Wei left Black Panther, cut his signature long hair, formed a dream band, and signed a contract with Magic Rock Culture.

Dou Wei left the Black Panther, in addition to the difference in musical concepts, there is another reason: keyboardist Luan Shu's ex-girlfriend is called Faye Wong, and later got along with Dou Wei.
When he left the team, guitarist Guo Chuanlin talked to Dou Wei about the conditions: Don't sing the song of the Black Panther in the future, as soon as you sing, our side will definitely be finished.
Later, Dou Wei kept his promise and never sang a song of the Black Panther Band again.

This rock 'n' roll craze attracted a man with a beard. His name is Zhang Peiren, he is the deputy general manager of Rolling Stone Records, and he is very familiar with and good at market operation.
In 1991, Zhang Peiren saw a business opportunity and founded a Rolling Stone records subsidiary in Beijing: Magic Rock Culture. He first signed the Tang Dynasty Band and released Tang Dynasty's debut album "Dream Back to tang Dynasty", which was a great success.
The success of the Tang Dynasty band gave the Rolling Stones and Zhang Peiren a reassuring pill.
Prosperous Tang Dynasty
Zhang Peiren, who had the confidence, quickly signed Dou Wei, Zhang Chu, and He Yong. The famous "Magic Rock Three Masters" in the Chinese rock music scene was born.
Magic Rock Culture has carefully created three albums for Magic Rock Sanjie:
Dou Wei's "Black Dream";
Zhang Chu's "Lonely People Are Shameful";
He Yong's "Junkyard".
All three albums have been unprecedented successes.
In order to publicize the magic rock three jie, Zhang Peiren set his eyes on the Hung Hom Sports Centre in Hong Kong.
At 8:00 p.m. on December 17, 1994, Dou Wei, Zhang Chu, He Yong, and the guest performer Tang Dynasty Band, a concert called "Rock Chinese Music Forces", officially opened at the Hung Hom Gymnasium.
Dou Wei's psychedelic atmosphere, Zhang Chu's poetic temperament, He Yong's crazy talent, and the heavy metal roar of the Tang Dynasty completely conquered the Xiangjiang audience who were waiting to see the joke.
At this moment, the Magic Rock Culture, the Magic Rock Three Masters, the Tang Dynasty Band, and Zhang Peiren all ushered in the highlight moments of life.

Hung Hom exploded overnight, failing to open the door to the future of the Magic Rock Sanjie. The legend turned into a meteor in an instant, and quickly fell into a trough.
In 1994, the Panthers didn't get a show all year, and they weren't even welcome in bars.
In 1995, Tang Dynasty band bassist Zhang Ju died in a car accident, and six days later, it was his 25th birthday. Since then, the Tang Dynasty has embarked on a downward spiral, and the scenery is no longer beautiful.
In 1997, Zhang Chu's new album "The Factory That Built The Plane" was criticized badly. Zhang Chu, who was depressed, returned directly from Beijing to his hometown in Xi'an.
Rolling Stone Records wanted to package Dou Wei as a singer like "Wang Feng". Dou Wei, who insisted on his musical dream, said to the company: No!
Zhang Peiren also left, and there was an economic crisis in the Rolling Stones headquarters, and he was recalled.
Before leaving, Zhang Peiren said: Give me three years, wait until I earn enough money, and then go back to Beijing to engage in rock and roll.
Rock did not wait for Zhang Peiren to return to Beijing, and it fell.
Zhang Peiren opened up the pop music market and signed Wu Bai, Zhang Zhenyue, Chen Qizhen and Yang Naiwen, all of which were successful.

On July 5, 2008, In Shanghai, the three masters of Magic Rock reunited.
The name of this concert is: The Sound of Tree Growth.
After 14 years, things are not human: Dou Wei and He Yongfa are blessed; Zhang Chu, who is still thin, is also much more easy-going and has learned to interact with the audience.
Unfortunately, the three of them each took the stage, and none of them cooperated in a song. Time has alienated them, and they can't get back to what they once felt.
