It is reported that the actor Cirrian Murphy, who is famous for the TV series "Blood Gangsters", will play the protagonist of the film, "Father of the Atomic Bomb" Robert Oppenheimer, of which the title of the film is also set as "Oppenheimer", and will officially start filming in 2022, and is expected to be released on July 21, 2023.
According to reports, the screenplay will refer to the book "American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer" by Kay Bird and Martin Schöwen, and Nolan will write the script himself, in addition to many of director Nolan's former colleagues will also be involved in the production of the film, including the cinematography Hoyte van Hoytema, the editor Jennifer Lemme and the composer Ludwig Golansson.
