On March 6, Capital Normal University Hengqin Boya Kindergarten (hereinafter referred to as "Boya Kindergarten") officially opened, welcoming nearly 200 children in 7 classes, including 14 Macao students.

In order to meet the needs of Qinqin and Macao residents for high-quality preschool education and expand preschool places, the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Co-operation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "Co-operation Zone") in Hengqin has made every effort to ensure the completion and delivery of kindergartens on schedule by purchasing the supporting kindergartens in the Lychee Bay Community, optimizing the decoration design and organizing the implementation quickly.
It is understood that Boya Kindergarten is adjacent to the Lychee Bay Community, covering an area of 3,688 square meters and a total construction area of 4,936.46 square meters. Designed according to the size of 12 teaching classes, with an average of 30 students per class, 360 degrees can be provided. The kindergarten is operated and managed by the team of Capital Normal University, and currently has 55 teaching staff, including more than 30 teachers, all of whom are full-time undergraduate or graduate students.
The architectural design of Boya Kindergarten introduces the design concept of "cloud", and the whole kindergarten is like a free "cloud" floating between the island and the sea, creating a dream castle paradise for children in the city. The interior design takes the famous mural "Athens Academy" as the starting point of the design, focusing on creating an eclectic, free and open atmosphere of the temple space. There are 26 rooms of various types in the park, including teachers' offices, conference rooms, student dance classrooms, music classrooms, art classrooms, Lego classrooms, puzzle classrooms, etc., providing sufficient activity space for teachers and students.
Zhang Luxia, executive director of Boya Kindergarten, said that the kindergarten adheres to the tenet of "running a children's paradise with the heart of children", and the overall style takes "natural, open, light and changeable" as the keywords, allowing children to shuttle through the hall, green plants and cloud-like fantastic campus environment, relaxed, free and happy. At present, the kindergarten has about 20 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan children, and has opened immersive English education to meet the international education needs. Next, the kindergarten will closely combine the development needs of the cooperation zone and the needs of Qinao residents, combine the teaching and research achievements of Capital Normal University with practical teaching, and strive to build a research-oriented kindergarten with both an international vision and Chinese characteristics.
