Catherine de Medici expanded the castle, transforming the bridge connecting the main fort into a banqueting room – the launch site of CHANEL's 2020/21 Haute Chow collection. The geometric aesthetic of the black-and-white checkerboard on the ground, transformed into a pattern, appears on top of garments and bags.
