Match Review

Another set of matchups against Zhou was slightly far-fetched because the Nets had lost nine straight against the Greens. After the opening game, the home Celtic quickly proved this, with targeted defense and fiery outside touch, and soon forced their opponents to take their first timeout 14-3. After the timeout, the situation did not change, the Nets still felt cold, and the Green Army seemed to be on the hook, hitting all the first 7 three-pointers, the point difference became wider and wider, once reaching 31 points, the first quarter was played, the score was frozen at 46-16, Tatum 18 points and 6 rebounds in a single quarter. The 46 points were the Greens' new single-quarter scoring high this season.

After the start of the second quarter, Cameron Thomas took the lead in stepping up, once 2+1, once playing a rebound three-pointer, a mid-range dry shot, and scored 8 points, and then Harris and Curry also found their touch, and under the leadership of Irving, the Nets once chased the score to 22 points by offense. But the combined ability of the Green Army at both ends of the offensive and defensive ends had a clear upper hand, and after a brief break, it played an 8-0 run before half-time and went into the break with a 79-45 lead. The 79-point score was also a new halftime high for the Green Army this season.

After the start of the second half, the Nets were okay offense, but they trailed by more than 30 points, and if they couldn't pinch their opponents on the defensive end, it would be useless to try. As the game time becomes less and less, the suspense of the game becomes less and less. With 2:33 left in the third quarter, Sharp hit a layup to make it 70-102, almost the Nets' best, but the double prospect quickly extinguished that last bit of flames, and after Tatum hit a 3-pointer, the Celtics led 110-72 by 38 points into the fourth quarter.

Throughout the fourth quarter, the game was reduced to garbage time, and the only suspense was whether the Celtics could break the team's all-time three-point record of 27 three-point shots in a single game, and eventually their three-point shooting was fixed at 26 shots.
