Anti-Coalition female soldiers, a hundred-year love of a one-night couple

On May 14, 2014, a tomb was added to the dense forest of the Xiaoxing'anling Mountains. The front of the tombstone is engraved with bold characters: "Anti-Japanese Partner Eternal Watch", and on the back is engraved: "Wu Yuguang, director of the Political Department of the 4th Division of the 6th Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army, and Li Guilan, director of the garment factory, were buried here in June 1937 and married here", "Old comrade-in-arms Li Min and daughter Liu Ying were honored in May 2014".

Yi Wu Yuguang, born in North Sanggyeong Province, South Korea, came to China as a family in 1917. He participated in anti-Japanese activities while he was a primary school teacher, and in September 1936 he became the director of the political department of the 4th Division of the 6th Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army, and in December 1938, he died in the Battle of Storm Horse Peak in Raohe County. Li Min, a veteran soldier of the Anti-Japanese League, commented on Wu Yuguang: "Educated, handsome, and complete in both culture and martial arts. ”

Li Guilan, 9 years old, was born in Luobei County to an "anti-Japanese family" on the banks of the Duck Egg River. In 1936, under the leadership of Li Sheng, an old traffic officer known as the "father of the Anti-Japanese Alliance", Li Guilan went into the mountains with Li Min to join the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army. Soon after, he served as the leader of the political department of the 6th Army Clothing Factory. Li Min said of Li Guilan: "The eldest sister has a pair of skillful hands, and the red ribbon on the top of our hat is embroidered by her." ”

One day, Li Min, who was only 13 years old, found that Sister Li and Director Wu had gone into the woods, and she felt that something was wrong, so when the two of them walked out of the woods, they went forward and asked, "What are you doing?" Wu Yuguang said, "Catch the rabbit and go." "What about rabbits?" "Caught and released!" "Liar, there is no meat star in the pot, will you let go of the rabbit you caught?" No, tell the truth! ”...... The two laughed without answering.

Li Min reported her discovery to Pei Chengchun, the director of the garment factory, and Pei's elder sister smiled and said to her: "They are in love, this is approved." ”

In June 1937, the enlarged meeting of the Executive Committee of the Provisional Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China in Northern Manchuria was held, and the venue was set in the 6th Army Quilt Factory. Li Guilan accepted a special task of embroidering the Chinese Communist Party flag for the conference. When Li Guilan finished embroidering the last stitch and handed the party flag to Sister Pei, Sister Pei happily told her that Wu Yuguang had also come. Li Guilan's heart immediately jumped wildly... On this day, all the leaders of the anti-Japanese coalition army and the provincial party committee came: Feng Zhongyun, Zhao Shangzhi, Zhou Baozhong, Li Zhaolin... Wu Yuguang attended the meeting, which made Li Guilan feel proud in his heart. The day before the meeting ended, the leaders of the Executive Committee approved Wu Yuguang's marriage to Li Guilan.

Commander Zhou Baozhong officiated at their wedding, and Commander Zhao Shangzhi took witness to the marriage. Zhou Baozhong said: "Comrades, the wedding of two couples in this mountain today is a great joy for our Anti-Japanese League, a great joy for the 3rd and 6th Armies, and a great joy for the garment factory. Li Guilan is a Han girl married to a Korean boy Wu Yuxian, and Li Zaide is a Korean girl married to a Manchu boy Yu Baohe. Comrades say, is this a great joy of national unity?! ”

Then, Zhao Shangzhi issued a congratulatory speech: "I hope that the two new couples will care for each other, respect and love each other in the long revolutionary journey in the future, join hands to resist Japan, and grow old in vain." ”

That night, Yu Baohe and Li Zaide's cave house was set up in a tent in the forest; Wu Yuguang and Li Guilan's cave house was a simple house in the quilt factory.

Many years later, when her daughter asked about the details of her mother's wedding, Li Guilan couldn't remember anything, only a sentence that Wu Yuguang said to her: "This is temporary, wronged you, wait for the victory of the revolution, we will settle down again." ”

No one knew that just as the wedding was in progress, a traffic officer nicknamed "Gan Ba Jiang" squeezed over to Feng Zhongyun's side and handed him a secret document. Early in the morning, all the participants quickly dispersed. Li Guilan and Wu Yuguang only did one night as husband and wife.

In 1938, the Anti-Japanese Coalition Army entered a harsh period, and the Japanese puppet army carried out the "March 15 Sweep". The garment factory built in the secret camp suspended the processing of the garment and took in the wounded and sick who had been transferred, and Li Guilan was unfortunately captured by the enemy.

Wu Yuguang, who had already turned to Raohe, cried when he learned that his beloved wife Li Guilan had been captured... At this time, the troops were almost wiped out and needed to unite with the Seventh Army, and the task fell on Wu Yuguang's body. When he led a small detachment of 8 people to approach the camp of the Seventh Army, he was ambushed by the enemy and died heroically at the age of 29.

At this time, Li Guilan, who was in prison, did not know anything, and it was not until her mother visited the prison for the third time that she told her that "Wu Yuguang was sacrificed." Li Guilan was proud to have such a husband, and the enemy poured chili water into her throat and nailed bamboo sticks to the tips of her fingers... She would rather die than yield.

In September 1944, Li Guilan, who had been in prison for more than 6 years, was released from prison. Three months later, she remarried Liu Shenzhou, an elementary school teacher with two young children.

After that, Li Guilan gave birth to a daughter Liu Ying.

In 1988, Liu Shenzhou passed away. When her husband was seriously ill, Li Guilan said: "You can rest assured to go, I will be with your son's mother for you." ”

In those days, Li Guilan said a lot to Liu Ying that she would not say to her brothers, and her daughter tasted: "Mother still misses Wu Yuguang."

Before li guilan died, he expressed his last wish to the organization: he hoped to be buried with his former comrade-in-arms Wu Yuguang.

On January 8, 2008, the first day of the first lunar month, Li Guilan completed a bumpy and glorious life at the age of 90.

Liu Ying's two half-brothers respected their mother's choice, and also enlightened their sister: "We can't look at our mother in general, our mother and Wu Yuguang are not only the original husband and wife, but also close comrades-in-arms who fought side by side in the War of Resistance Against Japan!" ”

On May 14, Li Min, an old comrade-in-arms who participated in the wedding of Wu Yuguang and Li Guilan, came, and the descendants of the veteran soldiers of the Anti-Japanese League who participated in the wedding, Feng Zhongyun's nephew, Zhao Shangzhi's niece, and Zhang Lansheng's son... All came.

Wu Yuguang has no graves and no children, and Li Yunqiao, a researcher at the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall, in the name of a historian, picked up a bunch of soil by the Wutong River where Wu Yuguang fought, and packed it into an urn as the soul of a martyr.

After the funeral was a happy ceremony - completely unexpected, the elderly Li Min held a red rose basket and joyfully dedicated it to Wu Yuguang and Li Guilan, who were buried together.

"Let's bless them both, they're finally united again!"

Thinking of what Wu Yuguang said to Li Guilan, "When the revolution is victorious, let's settle down again," the tears I have been holding in my eyes have gushed out.
