Nanfeng Yukou, not far from the car, saw the Vinaya Ancestral Court Jingye Temple.

Looking at the introduction, I learned that Jingye Temple was built in the Sui Dynasty, and in the early Tang Dynasty, it was the propagation dojo of the senior monk Daoxuan, so it became the ancestral court of the Buddhist Vinaya. Vinaya was later passed on by Daoxuan's disciple Jian Zhen to Japan, becoming the ancestor of Japanese Vinaya.

The temple was built in a mountain recess at an altitude of 762 meters, and most of the buildings are well preserved.

Stopping here, I suddenly remembered Master Hongyi, a disciple of the Vinaya sect, who wrote a poem to a friend before he passed away:

A gentleman's friendship, it is as light as water.

Perseverance and seeking, thousands of miles away.

Asked Yu He Shi, Guer forgot to speak.

Huazhi spring is full, and the moon is full.

To the effect that:

The interaction between gentlemen is as pure as water.

If you only look at the appearance, it seems to see the real situation, but in fact it is far behind.

Asked where I was going to settle down, the road ahead was vast, and I was speechless.

But I saw that the flowers were blooming in spring, the moon was empty, and there was peace and tranquility, that was where I belonged.

This poem by Master Hongyi contains the heart of enlightenment, the meaning of letting go, and the feeling of detachment.
