With the construction of the Lianhuashan National Coastal Fishing Port Economic Zone, in order to better inherit the cultural spirit of the fishing village, on the afternoon of April 29, 2024, the "Double Hundred Project" Social Work Service Station (hereinafter referred to as the "Shilou Social Work Station") in Shilou Town, Guangzhou City, together with Lianhuashan Primary School, Qunxing Village, Dongxing Village, Star Village, and Satellite Village, jointly carried out a unique cultural experience activity with the characteristics of a fishing village. In this activity, more than 150 fifth-grade students of Lianhuashan Primary School were organized to visit the fishing village, gain an in-depth understanding of the cultural connotation and development process of the fishing village, and feel the grand blueprint of the national fishing village construction plan; Through a series of cultural booth displays and experiences, students can feel the fun and value of cultural inheritance, deepen their sense of identity with the culture of the fishing village, stimulate their enthusiasm for cultural inheritance and sense of mission, and inject new vitality into the inheritance and development of the culture of the fishing village.

The day of the event was divided into two parts, namely the field tour of the streets and alleys of the fishing village, the fishing port and the port, and the cultural booth experience of the designated fishing village.

The social worker communicated with the school in advance and divided each class into 4 groups, each group was equipped with a security team (composed of parent volunteers + teachers + social workers). Before departure, in order to strengthen the enthusiasm of the students, the social workers of Double Hundred set up learning challenge cards for each group in the way of orienteering, encouraging and guiding the students to take the initiative to understand, observe and complete small tasks together during the activity.

Under the leadership of the double hundred social workers, the students toured along the streets of the fishing village and witnessed the changes in the fishing village, such as the environmental sanitation of the fishing village and the facilities rich in the characteristics of the fishing village, which made the students feel the vitality and potential of the development of the fishing village. As one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Fishing Ports in Guangdong", the social workers of Double Hundred also introduced to the students how the fishing port has developed from an "ancient quarry transportation wharf" to a "national central fishing port", and showed the blueprint and planning for the future development of the fishing port, including ecological protection, cultural inheritance, and fishermen's income increase.

In addition, when the students were organized by the Double Hundred social workers to visit the village committee of Qunxing Village, a number of cultural display booths of the fishing village were set up, displaying rich historical relics and photo materials, vividly showing the changes and development of the fishing village from the past to the present. By watching the exhibition, the students not only learned about the origin of the fishing village, the hard work of the fishermen and the richness and diversity of fishery resources, but also deeply experienced the perseverance, diligence and courage of the people in the fishing village. In the interactive experience of fishing village culture, students participated in traditional cultural activities such as weaving nets and singing saltwater songs, and felt the charm of fishing village culture with their own hands. In addition, the students also learned more about the legends and interesting facts about the fishing village through the "fishing life" stories shared by the fishermen on the spot, and enhanced their understanding and recognition of the culture of the fishing village.

The "Double Hundred Project" social work station of Shilou Town, in conjunction with the Qunxing Village Committee and Lianhuashan Primary School, has important significance and value in the characteristic cultural experience activities of the fishing village, and has also won the strong support of parent volunteers and fisherman volunteers.
