The National Alliance for University Museum Education recently launched "Unveiling the Veil of History and Dialogue Through Time and Space" - an online exhibition of the wonderful journey of university museums, which for the first time presents the collections of national university museums to the public through online form.

  The exhibition selects more than 130 classic collections from museums in 70 universities across China, including the Sackler Museum of Archaeology and Art of Peking University, Fudan University Museum, Qian Xuesen Library of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology Museum, Wu Jianxiong Memorial Hall of Southeast University, Herbarium of Wuhan University, Museum of Anthropology of Xiamen University, Xu Shifen Geological Museum of the University of Hong Kong, and History Museum of Northwestern Polytechnical University.

  The exhibition covers different cultural categories such as humanities, history, ethnicity and science and technology, and is presented through 7 collection rooms with different characteristics, including "Taste the Forbidden Ancient Rhyme, Remembering the Glory of a Thousand Years", "Appreciating the Mighty Pujiang River, Observing the Changes of the Times", "Guarding the Heavy Weapon of the Country, Riding the Magnificent Wind of the Snowy Land", "Painting the Impression of Jinling, Building Ink and Elegant Rhyme", "Gathering National Pearls, Passing on the Style of the Four Directions", "The Wind of the Southern Kingdom, Enjoy the Fertility of Tianfu" and "Passing on the Civilization of the Ancient Capital, Sinking the Pride of the North", presented through thematic methods with their own characteristics and distinct themes. Each museum presents its representative collection, which represents a model of the industry, or a collection of pearls, or a fixed frame of history...

  It is understood that since the beginning of the planning, the exhibition has been polished for several months, from the selection of topics to the selection of collections, the team members have repeatedly deliberated and decided, and strive to present the most original and precious historical materials. They span different fields, different professions, and different eras, and they are presented to the public together. Music, art, medicine, biology, transportation, media... Through the collection, peek into the development of the times, the development of disciplines, and the development of schools. Visitors can click on any exhibit to view, and each exhibit is accompanied by a graphic introduction and detailed display. The exhibition also carried out offline 3D scanning of some exhibits, striving to restore the most authentic appearance of the collection and give the audience the best viewing experience.

  The National University Museum Education Alliance has gone through the spring and autumn of ten years. As one of the special categories of museums, university museums contribute to the aesthetic education, cultural education and history education of college students.
