"Pearl of the Orient" is the theme song of the 1981 Hong Kong television series "The Road Ahead". The song was composed by the famous Hong Kong composer Gu Jiahui, and the lyrics were written by the famous Hong Kong lyricist Cheng Guojiang, and the famous singer Zhen Ni sang the lyrics. The other two songs, "Pearl of the Orient", were songs written by Luo Dayou in 1986 and 1991 respectively.
