Sunlight pours into the house through the windows, wooden tables and wooden chairs, here is one of the "house box cafes" in Haishen 12 workshops. Born in 2003, Wang Xinyi, a first-year interior design student at the Shanghai Vocational College of Arts and Crafts, is still the manager of a café.
"The pattern made now is the leaves, first let the milk and the coffee liquid fuse, fully integrated, then lower the pulling pot and swing left and right, you can make the shape of the leaves." Grinding, compacting, brewing coffee, and then pulling out a beautiful pattern according to the preferences of the guests, it does not take long for a cup of freshly ground coffee to be ready, full of color and flavor.
Wang Xinyi has loved coffee and desserts since she was a child, and began to teach herself as a teenager. This summer, she also spent two months specially training in making coffee and desserts. The reason for opening a café in Haishen Village is due to coincidence. "Just some time ago to visit Haishen Village, because Zhong Angel won the Olympic Games, but also heard that this is the hometown of the Olympic champions, there are many tourists to come, I found that there is a lack of cafes around, I want to give myself a chance to exercise, try it."
Because she is still in school, Wang Xinyi only has time to personally take care of the affairs of the store on holidays, making every cup of coffee by herself, usually managed by her mother. There are many kinds of coffee in the shop, the price is affordable, and limited drinks are also introduced according to different seasons, such as the recently launched osmanthus latte, which is very popular.
In addition to coffee, the small cake in the shop is also made by Wang Xinyi herself. Fresh mango with coconut milk, cream and milk is poured on the cake embryo, and finally sprinkled with mango grains, sago, grapefruit and mint garnish, a poplar manna popcorn cake is ready. This is also her best dessert.
Opening a café in the countryside is not a small challenge, but Wang Xinyi also has the motivation of a newborn calf who is not afraid of tigers. A month after opening, the café's turnover has exceeded expectations, which makes her more confident about the future. "Throughout the Eleventh, I will be in the shop, welcoming you all to taste delicious coffee and see the beautiful countryside."
