Shandong Province 150 million yuan to build a field "cinema"

Jinan, 2 Dec (Xinhua) -- Shandong has invested 150 million yuan this year to comprehensively promote the "sending movies to the countryside" activity, and more than 790,000 public welfare films have been screened.

The reporter learned from the Propaganda Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee that this year, Shandong Province has taken multiple measures to promote the management of rural public welfare films and explored a new model of standardized and equal screening. For example, measures such as the Implementation Measures for the Government to Purchase Rural Film Public Services from Social Forces in Shandong Province, the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Standardized and Equal Screening of Rural Films in Shandong Province, and the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Public Welfare Film Screening Activities in Shandong Province for Sending Films to Welfare Institutions and Community Squares have been promulgated, bringing the standardized and equal screening of rural public welfare films into the institutionalized and standardized track.

Shandong has also included "sending movies to the countryside" into the assessment of rural cultural revitalization, adhering to daily supervision, january and dispatch, and semi-annual notification, and continuously improving the quality of screening services, the coverage rate of administrative villages and the satisfaction of the masses. At the same time, the rural public welfare film supervision platform has been upgraded and transformed, and the real-time return of panoramic photos of the screening site has been realized, creating an efficient and guaranteed supervision platform.

Up to now, more than 4,000 screening teams have entered more than 54,000 administrative villages and more than 70,000 screening sites in the province, screening more than 790,000 public welfare films.
