It is a country located in West Africa, it is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, has 537 kilometers of coastline and many good harbors, known as the "Gateway to Africa".

The country is rich in rubber, rich in forest resources and mineral resources, and is born to do foreign trade, it stands to reason that such a country is the chosen son of God in Africa, and it is difficult not to be rich.

But in reality, it is one of the poorest countries in the world, and even in Africa, which is generally backward, it is shockingly poor, with a GDP per capita of $734 poorer than the Gambia.

And this country is one of only two countries in Africa that has not been spoiled by colonization, and it is the first republic in all of Africa, it is Liberia, a tragic country created by the Americans.

As an independent and sovereign country, Liberia is often referred to as the "Little America of Africa", and its systems, institutions, ideas and policies are all copied from the United States.

However, the reason why the United States can play this game is because people have a strong family base built up by capital exploitation, war riches and dollar harvesting to squander, who can Liberia exploit?

As we all know, the "triangular trade" transported countless blacks to the Americas as slaves, and American farmers often enslaved and managed hundreds of blacks, and they beat and killed black slaves at will.

This unconscionable situation continued until the 19th century, when some people began to discuss whether to abolish slavery, and Americans in the North and South had diametrically opposed attitudes on this issue.

The South is dominated by agriculture and needs slaves to help them grow cotton, but the North is dominated by industrial capitalism and they need markets.

In 1860, there were 3.953 million black slaves in the United States, accounting for 1/6 of the American population, but they were all slaves, how could they have money to buy things? Thus, the abolitionist movement broke out.

They set up various "abolitionist organizations", and by the 40s, there were as many as 2,000 such organizations, numbering more than 200,000 people, and they were extremely powerful. Coupled with the effects of the Civil War, more and more black slaves were freed.

However, after the blacks were freed, the Americans did not treat them as human beings, of course the blacks did not want to, they said they wanted to give me freedom, and now they isolated me in the black ghetto, what is it?

So, the conflict broke out, and as the racial conflict intensified, some Americans thought they should send them back, and so, in 1821, a sailing ship called the "Nautilus" carried 264 blacks to the west coast of Africa.

These blacks coerced the local natives by force, and paid $300 for a 100-square-meter area to take root here. That's right, a bunch of blacks from the United States colonized Africa.

More and more blacks came from the United States, and the living space of local natives was inevitably squeezed, so conflicts between indigenous and American blacks also broke out.

On July 26, 1847, in order to fight against indigenous blacks, the people of eight colonial districts united to form the Federation of Liberia, under the jurisdiction of a white governor.

And most of their sources of livelihood depended on funds provided by the United States, but gradually, the United States did not want to give money, so they let themselves become independent, and just like that, the Republic of Liberia was born.

After the establishment of Liberia, the political system was all copied from the United States, and the Declaration of Independence was carefully made, and the first black governor, Joseph Roberts, was elected as the founding president, but did they really have the ability to govern the country?

After the founding of the country, Liberia completely "recognized the United States as its father", was the first country in Africa to sign a mutual defense treaty with the United States, diplomatically the United States said what they said, and also leased a large amount of land used for growing food to the United States cheaply to let them grow rubber.

Such perverse actions soon made the indigenous blacks of Liberia poor enough to eat soil, but the blacks of American did not care, they only cared about two things, filial piety to the United States and preservation of themselves.

They numbered only 5% of the total population, but they controlled most of the country's wealth, and they oppressed local blacks in every way, who would have thought that the black slaves who had been oppressed in the United States would begin to oppress their compatriots after returning to Africa.

On the night of April 12, 1980, a sergeant major named Samuela Doe led 17 soldiers to a mutiny, they stormed the presidential palace, fired all the bullets in their submachine guns on the incumbent President Tolbert, and then broadcast the coup as a success.

Doe ran for office to become the new president, and Doe was represented by indigenous blacks, and he was also the first indigenous president in a century. So, are the good days coming for the Liberian people?

Unfortunately, it was not a good day, it was a real nightmare, Doe had no culture, let alone the ability to govern the country, he was a small soldier before he became president, and his only characteristic was brutal enough.

Doe, who became president, anyone who dared to disobey his heart was killed on the spot, not to mention high-ranking officials and cronies, even the 17 brothers who accompanied him in the "rebellion" were killed by him.

Not to mention the people, life is not as good as before, such a horrible life, Liberians spent ten years, during which 40 coups broke out in Liberia, but they were suppressed by the murderous Doe.

Until December 24, 1989, Charles Taylor led the rebels to attack Liberia. Remember that the 17 brothers who accompanied Doe's coup were not killed 16? Charles was the one who escaped.

With Charles's counterattack, the Liberian civil war broke out, and in the 9th month of the war, the tyrant Doe was shot, but the war did not end, and all forces wanted to seize power, so a big scuffle began.

The war even affected Sierra Leone and Guinea for seven years! Only then did it gradually subside under the intervention of the United Nations.

Seven years of war have left 150,000 dead, 850,000 fleeing their homes, infrastructure destroyed and Liberia in ruins.

Liberia's failure can be seen as the failure of those in power, or it can be seen as the failure of the American system, after all, the United States itself cannot withstand it.

What Liberia needs is not a new head of state, much less international assistance that is better than nothing, but a revolution, a revolution with a red flag.
