Preface
As we all know, on a global scale, due to the differences in natural geographical environment and development origins, the skin color of representative races is also different.
In today's society, the population of various regions is highly mobile, and the global distribution of human races is in a state of extensive and complex mixing, and only traditional indigenous people exist in the local area.
For example, the term "Black Americans" is a term for people who are further subdivided into races based on the world's major ethnic groups, namely African Americans.
These people are all dark-skinned people with African traditions, but they have become Americans because of various reasons such as the criminal slave trade and subsequent immigration, either passively or actively.
Although this part of African Americans is both black and American on the surface, looking back at the history of the coexistence of black Americans and native blacks in Liberia, African Americans can neither fully integrate into white Americans nor unite their fellow black people in the strict sense, and even if they are in power, they are far from being well-being in their homeland.
The foreign race is not harmonious, and it is not close to the own race
Cao Zhi once wrote in "Seven Steps Poem": It is born from the same root, so why not be too anxious to fry each other. This sentence is extremely appropriate for the black American who holds the power of the Liberian state.
At first, the ancestors of African Americans were sold into slavery in the Americas by European colonizers hundreds of years ago, that is, the black slave trade that has been full of evil in history, and the criminal human trafficking is also the main culprit of racial discrimination and the unequal treatment of black people for hundreds of years.
Later, after the emancipation of blacks, black Americans were able to return to their homeland as free men, which should have been something to celebrate with the whole family.
However, under the infiltration of foreign cultures for a long time, the descendants of African descent have long been very different from the indigenous black people in Africa, and they cannot integrate into Africa, and the indigenous people also have a sense of exclusion from outsiders.
As a result, although black Americans and indigenous blacks are of the same race, their national centripetal force is not strong, and they are fundamentally unable to unite, let alone develop together.
Even though there has been a black president in the history of the United States, the racial concept formed in the long-term historical stage has long been deeply rooted, and the phenomenon of white discrimination against blacks and colored glasses still exists.
In recent years, the concept of racial equality has gradually become a consensus, but vicious incidents related to racial contradictions are still reported from time to time.
In the face of the living environment where white people are the mainstream, no matter how many years they have lived here, there may still be more of a sense of desolation in the face of white people.
And when they were released to their homeland, they fell into the dilemma of not being compatible with foreigners and their own clans, and they were more of a feeling of being at a loss where to go.
Once in power, being bullied turned into active exploitation and exploitation
All over the world, many countries and regions have suffered unfair exploitation and oppression, but after the role of "turning over serfs and singing" has changed, different countries and regions have produced different ways of behaving.
For example, the mainland has taken the past humiliation as a warning, kept its mission firmly in mind and strived for development and prosperity, and at the same time has not forgotten to shoulder the responsibilities of a major country while developing its own country, and has made great efforts to safeguard world peace and promote global development.
This includes providing economic support and technical assistance to some backward and impoverished countries and regions, never bullying the weak, nor inflicting the unfair treatment suffered by one's own country on any country or region in the past, preventing the recurrence of tragedies, and putting the spirit of peace, friendship, common development and humanitarianism into every international affair.
If every country in the world behaves like the continent, then world peace will not be just a long-cherished wish called for by the whole people.
But contrary to expectations, there will always be some former bullies who are in power or powerful after the change of role identity, and do not want to shine on the weak, but have become perpetrators who actively participate in exploitation and oppression, with an ugly and hideous greedy face and only sit back and enjoy the evil vested interests, completely forgetting that they themselves were also deeply affected by the past.
This was the case in Liberia when black Americans came to power, when the United States enacted a policy to resettle emancipated black slaves in Liberia.
On the surface, this seems to be a humanitarian concern, releasing the long-adrift black people to their African homeland, but in fact it is as nihilistic as the verbal call for equal rights for black people, and the reality that racial discrimination still exists.
Even the United States, which cannot afford to make a profit, will not repatriate these African-Americans to Africa for no reason, because there is a fundamental interest in colonial expansion.
The U.S. side first liberated the blacks with the abolitionist movement, and then sent troops to lead these free blacks to Liberia, and forced the local indigenous blacks to "sell" coastal land with the threat of force, and the soldiers and civilians sent by the United States to Liberia gained a firm foothold here.
The first black American immigrant area was established here, which was also the first step in the United States' desired colonial expansion into Africa.
The U.S. colonial expansion program began after the success of the first step, followed by the invasion and occupation of the second step, followed by continuous infiltration, first by American immigrants encroaching on the Grain Coast, and then by the local indigenous rebellion, the United States was in the rear, supporting the black Americans in all aspects of human and material resources.
The local indigenous black people are outnumbered, and for more than 100 years they have been shrouded in the rule of the descendants of black immigrants in the United States, and valuable resources such as minerals and forests have become the pockets of the United States in disguised form of lies about foreign trade, and the cheap labor force has allowed the United States to benefit from industrial production countless times, and it is conceivable that the local indigenous people have suffered all kinds of exploitation and oppression.
During this period, the indigenous black people and the black Americans were in a state of incompatibility, and the local indigenous coups occurred from time to time, and the state power of Liberia has been jumping between the two sides, and the ordinary people are also living in misery, and living and working in peace and contentment has become a luxury.
Stability and peace are the only way to talk about development, and years of civil war will only make regional development stagnate and backward, resulting in Liberia becoming one of the least developed countries in the world today.
African-Americans, because of the historical reasons why their ancestors were plundered to the Americas, generations of black Americans have become the majority of Americans in the subtle cultural invasion.
But the reality is embarrassing that even in the new century, the racial discrimination that exists in the hearts of black Americans in the hearts of whites cannot be completely eliminated.
As a result, black Americans could not fully integrate into white Americans, and when they came to power in Liberia, the long-term historical and cultural inconsistencies made black Americans and indigenous blacks not related to each other, although they were related to each other.
Driven by profits, black Americans in power have become the exploitative executioners of the United States in Africa, which has led to the already backward Liberia aggravating the dilemma of poverty and weakness.
