Six major gaming enterprises successfully bid for the right to operate gaming in Macau

Chief Executive Instruction No. 205/2022 is detailed below:

The Chief Executive exercises the functions and powers conferred on him by Article 50 of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region and makes this Directive in accordance with Article 11, paragraph 1, of Law No. 16/2001 "Legal System for Casino Lucky Gaming Operations" and Article 82, paragraphs 2 and 3, of Administrative Regulation No. 26/2001 "Regulating Public Bidding and Awarding Contracts for Casino Lucky Gaming Operations, and the Appropriate Qualifications and Financial Requirements for Companies Participating in Bidding and Contracting Companies".

Pursuant to Chief Executive Directive No. 136/2022, the Macao Special Administrative Region has launched a new round of public bidding for casino lucky gaming operations, with the number of grants being six.

A total of seven participating companies were accepted for the public auction.

In order to apply the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 11 of Law No. 16/2001 and the second paragraph of Article 82 of Administrative Regulation No. 26/2001, after a consultation and consultation period, the "Casino Lucky Gaming Operation Approval to the Public Bidding Committee" (hereinafter referred to as the "Bidding Committee") established by Chief Executive Order No. 135/2022, in accordance with the provisions of Article 44, Paragraph 3 (8) and Article 82, Paragraph 3 of Administrative Regulation No. 26/2001, A reasoned report was prepared and submitted to the Chief Executive.

Having considered the contents of the above-mentioned reasoned report submitted by the Bidding Committee, in particular the conclusions and recommendations contained in the report, I consider that the tenders submitted by the following six participating companies are in the best interests of the Macao Special Administrative Region and grant provisional awards to such participating bidding companies:

(1) MGM Golden Hall Chao Hao Co., Ltd.;

(2) Galaxy Casino Co., Ltd.;

(3) Venetian Macau S.A.A.;

(4) Melco Resorts (Macau) Company Limited;

(5) Wynn Resorts (Macau) Company Limited;

(6) Macao Entertainment Integrated Resort Co., Ltd.
